Now I can type like back in the day.
Put down on paper what I want to say.
I hope it won't bother you. I hope you won't mind.
Where you once heard my voice, the sound of a typewriter you'll find.
Some people don't like it, it makes their head ache.
I hope you're not one of them for this writers sake!
But if it turns out that you are one of those,
I'll find my way out, the door I will close.
As you know I'm a writer and we're an odd bunch.
We live for make believe and believe in a hunch.
The sound of a typewriter is like music to my ears!
It's the sound of my happy place, calms all my fears.
It's clickety clacks, clackety clicks, beeps and more!
That beautiful sound makes me happy to the core!
It's funny how a sound can make a heart sing.
Oh the pleasure that comes from such a simple thing!
What's one man's headache is this writers joy.
It's the writers equivalence to a child new Christmas toy!
So if you find it annoying but you can still hold it in,
Consider not telling me, that's a win win.
But if it's so bothersome that you can't take anymore,
Me and my typewriter will walk out the door.
You will inspire the things that I'll write.
I'll tell tales of the man who wasn't quite right!
It won't matter at all if its fiction or not.
My typewriter will type such a sick, twisted plot!
All of my readers will remember your name.
You won't enjoy this kind of fame.
I'll make you the villain in all of my tales.
All your endeavors will be epic fails.
When people see you they'll laugh and they'll point.
You'll even be banned from every chill joint.
All because you didn't like the great sound.
Don't you wish you would've kept us around?
Me and my typewriter with it's wonderful sound....
