Small Courages

"Small Courages" was written an alternative to the debilitating fear (and often cowardice) generated by our polarized politics.

So numbed by cowardice

small courages are far too often ignored

unseen in those times of

choosing the ought-to-do

at some cost almost any cost will do

then affecting it because of that

in spite of the other

those in-spite-ofs that matter

those that go unnoticed

except by those whose life is now better or not

if not done

where courage

if not noticed

goes unrequited

like love unnoticed ignored hidden

from view

brave loves

whose sweetness

if noticed

would refresh the world when unnoticed

remains hidden to be discovered

in the small courages or brave loves
