Mobility, the catch-all disclaimer,

the raison d'être of the medium,

fashions modern knowledge

to taste...like, newsy sushi

Too consumed to rest, we

gorge on fast-food bytes,

force-fed by clever manipulations,

creating an inertia fuelled by Likeness

No labels warn of consumption...

Truthiness, the new calorie,

Conspiracy, the trans fat

More often vacuous, but...damn tasty

By inverse of the intent,

instead of joining a disparate people

around the globe, unaware, we are

herded into paddocks of similarity

Lost is the inspiration borne

of adversarial thought, intellectual discourse,

empathetic persuasion and celebratory consensus,

to the echo chamber of like-mindedness
