Heaven's Big Top

In the vast cosmic circus,

A juggler tosses stars.

As Saturn stands counting heads,

To determine who is present and where they are.

He sees Uranus on the far side,

Dancing alone in the dark.

And Venus practicing compulsively,

Afraid she will miss her mark.

The sun is providing energy,

As he hangs high in the sky.

Pluto basks in the warm rays

But Mars Just wonders why.

As curtain time approaches,

Neptune and Jupiter join

to say a prayer.

As they turn their thoughts to God,

His energy comes alive in the air.

Finally, as the moon reaches his apex

The Maestro takes the stage.

He picks up His baton to direct,

A pageant designed to amaze.

For every night the creator of the universe

Reveals the wonders His hands have made.

A glimpse into creation;

His heavenly host on parade.
