Falling In, Falling Out, Floating Thru  and Beyond

What if you and I had passed one another by when we met on the sidewalk that balmy orange-blossom Mid-summer’s Evening?  What if we had somehow managed to resist all push from the universe nudging us - none too gently - to meet?

Would we each, individually, have moved forward on the straight and narrow pathway of our career-oriented education, bypassing all those misguided, goal divergent years? Might we have found our way to fulfilling our separate life dreams?  

Even and, especially, knowing what I now know……

If you reached out to me today, even though, truth be known, I’m not at all sure yesterday was the best move for either of us, but because it was from yesterday that we learned, I would take your hand.  I would take your hand with a love that would travel through your precious blue eyes and deep into your soul far beyond the pain and crap of our shared life experience.  We would discuss the life-lessons we learned via one another until all was absorbed and complete.  Finally, we would embrace and hug deeply until we dissolved into free-falling particles, floating off into the universe to once again unite with the whole.
