You Are A Swan

About 30 years ago, my father's second wife somehow walked off with one of the spoons from my then-husband's coffee spoon collection. She returned the spoon by mail with no explanation. My ex-husband is still furious. I wonder if that missing coffee spoon was one of the first signs that she was losing her mind. She is now totally senile. Her memory is lost with my father's death.

a ballerina pirouetting

past the stage, 

a distraught driver with no road,

a purse with purloined

coffee spoon,

a memory lost to death.
