Tide of Life

"Tide of Life" depicts how life's rhythm is lost when a loved one passes away.

Life’s cycle goes full circle 

changing the ebb of the tide,

with an eerie silence

creeping in with the sunrise.

The best place in the world,

no longer exists

as she wakes up each morning 

to the same song with no familiar rhythm.

The clouds dance in the sky

like a dress rehearsal, 

as the scene suddenly changes

when the curtain falls down, 

giving birth to a new star.
