Get Out Of This Swamp!

Poverty brings people to the extreme,

being vassals to the political teams,

not knowing how, but they spin around

learning pompous terms, serving the worst. 

Poverty in the barrios, ghettos and slams

brings crimes, because somehow people need to survive.

Poverty sow seeds of hate and grow guns,

nurture weeds in the youth minds.

Poverty makes people to fell stack in the mud;

thinking that using alcohol and drags

is a solution to escape. But how?  

Wake up! Get up! And get out of this swamp!
