Alone In The Universe?

The bottom line: we are not at our best when we are Us and they are Them.

How can it be

that we’re the only We

that knows that

we are We

and all that goes

with thinking 

they are Them, not Us

(or was it We?)?

That nowhere

Hubble peered or

Webb now seeks,

or will,

has no we

except us.

That the eye won’t 

even bother to view

us, so close and so small

are we,

especially when we are

Us and they are Them.
