Rambling 298: The Grounding of Stuff Cristina: Warning. This program contains strong themes meant for a mature audience. Discretion is advised. Jack: Going live in 5, 4. Cristina: What does live mean? Jack: Welcome to the Rambling Podcast. I'm your host, Jack. Cristina: And I'm your host, Cristina. Jack: And this is the show where we ground humanity's most absurd and baffling ideas. And I think we've been doing that successfully lately. Cristina: Yes. Jack: So last week and the show before then, we were trying to get to what I was trying to talk about this entire time, but we got busy grounding things because that's our job. And that sidetracked us from getting to our one and only goal that this week we're definitely, without a doubt, gonna get to, which is, again, the fill people in on everything. And we've been doing this for a very long time. All we ever haven't. Cristina: Yeah. I don't understand. We've been doing what we've been supposed to be doing. Jack: Well, because grounding is our job, we can easily get sidetracked into grounding things because everything is groundable, if that makes sense. Cristina: So then we've been doing our job. Jack: Yeah, yeah, it's. It kind of loops back and forward to some degree, but I think we have some pretty good Grady greatest hits when it comes to grounding things. I think the whole Elation saga was beautiful. There's a lot, but it's infinite. And like, that gets frustrating. I think finding independent creatures that aren't related to them dope, and many things that are related to them dope. And it's funny because a lot of that, even finding the Elysians, really began about trying to see what the h*** was happening at the Bermuda Triangle. Cristina: That's where it started. Jack: Yeah. We were trying to find out what was happening in the Bermuda Triangle and then looking into clouds. Cristina: And then I thought it started with the unicorns. Jack: Well, that led us to the Alicorn that Antonio Dracohan. And that's kind of technically, that's the beginning. If this was a movie, if this was structured into a movie, the way that it built up into the Elysians. Right. Not even talking about the Elysian specifically, but a meta look at the show we were originally looking at. I think it was. Oh, no. Because then we migrated to the Groundhog. We were just looking at creatures and we were breaking apart clouds. There were some weird cloud patterns that we wanted to look into. And so we went through an entire breakdown of clouds, and then we veered off. We knew that the something weird was happening with that collection of clouds on top of the Bermuda Triangle. So that Allured us. Do you remember that? Cristina: Yes, but I don't think that had anything to do with Alicia. Jack: Not yet. Cristina: That was part of whatever story we had before. Jack: Well, no, because we were trying to find out what was happening directly under them. What was. What were they there for? Why was there a collection of clouds over the Bermuda Triangle? And I think then we looked into the groundhog, which I don't know if he ever finished his training. Cristina: Was it. Yes, he was part of training. To talk to the clouds. To the clouds? To get the clouds to talk to the sun, I think. Jack: Yes, because the sun is technically a cloud, too. Cristina: I think we were trying to stop some impending something from the cat People. Jack: Yes. Maybe an invasion or something. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Oh, no, no. We were trying to originally. Originally find out what was happening with the other stars disappearing in the great void. Cristina: Oh, yes. Jack: And we would need to talk to the sun to do it, which we. Cristina: Would use with clouds, but we thought we could use the. What is it? The. The groundhog. Because he could communicate with the weather. Jack: Yes, exactly. Oh, man. Cristina: The last one just died. So we had to train a new one. Jack: Yes. We had to give him adrenochrome. Cristina: Yes. Jack: He was Phil, right? Cristina: I don't know. Jack: It was Steve. Philly is the one who died. And then Steve was his replacement. A random groundhog we just gave a bunch of adrenochrome and started training. Cristina: Secrets of hogs is that they always were taking adrenochrome. Jack: No, it was specifically the one for. The one that they were talking to. Cristina: Yes. Yes. The groundhog 00:05:00 Cristina: that was chosen for Groundhog Day is always taking a dream. Jack: But that one died. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: And so we were training one the way they were doing because we accidentally killed Phil. Cristina: I think so. Jack: I don't remember how we killed Phil, but we killed Phil. I know that much. Cristina: I believe that is right. Jack: And then maybe they don't even know we replaced Phil. They don't know. They're just humans. And then we replace Phil with Steve, and they have no idea. And then secretly we've been training Steve in order to talk to the clouds so that the clouds. Specifically weather, I guess, which was also bouncing off of when we were talking about lightning as a component, but unrelated to the clouds, because those are two different individuals interacting. Cristina: Yeah. So that's the idea. And then we're gonna communicate with the planet somehow. Jack: And then we're gonna get. Go on and on Steve. To talk to the clouds. The clouds would talk to the sun. The sun would. But still, something weird was happening down there. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: And actually, Steve wasn't going to talk to the cloud specifically. There was a cloud with a face that we were gonna go talk to. Cristina: And we needed. Jack: Yes, yes. And we needed Steve for that. Cristina: Okay. Jack: So we were specifically gonna talk to that one cloud. That's a cloud. God or some crap. A demi cloud. And he was gonna talk to the sun or something. Cristina: I guess so. Yeah. Jack: Cool. But in doing so, we were like, weird that these clouds have. They're like floating over the. The Bermuda Triangle. And so we veer off and we're looking at different underwater things. I know. We were doing that for a while and we stumble upon. Actually, no, we ignore that for a while because we did Bimini Road, which we didn't. We thought about, you know, leading into the. Again, from a movie's perspective. It saw us doing these things, and then it shows us going somewhere else and discovering a different clue. But the. The. The viewer knows. The viewer knows. It's like, oh, this is related. The Bimini is by the Bahamas. A little tiny road that we looked at a long time ago that had the statues underwater. And it was like, kind of aiming towards the Bermuda Triangle. And we're like, oh, yeah, they're definitely down there because of xyz. Reason we still didn't know that the Elysians are the Atlanteans. We're just like some other people over there. And then we started looking into the Persian Gulf oasis because we were doing Atlanteans in specific. We were still calling them Atlanteans until we got to Antonio Draco. Cristina: I feel like before him, we were talking about the equator. Jack: Yes. Which was another thing related to them, wasn't it? But again, we didn't know. We're just like this giant equator surrounding the Earth. And it looks like these places built along this line were all in communication with one another or in communication with some bigger governing body. But they were all in sync with us. We still haven't found out what the point of that was. I thought we did the whole equator line. I know that a bunch of them died out. Is it because it was the line which. Cristina: Like, which Satan went to give them the tech? I guess it's easier for him to travel in a straight line. Jack: Yeah, I guess. Or maybe delivery was easier between the countries. So, like, we keep passing it down the line. We're all next to each other and he doesn't have to personally deliver it. It'll always keep rolling down the path. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Or maybe the equator is just the line in which the civilizations were Gonna be built like they were starting there. So we see them as just. Cristina: But why did they choose that? Jack: I. Why versus, like become a bubble or. Versus, like anything? Squiggly line. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Why a straight line, Right? Cristina: Yes. Jack: I have a theory on that. And I think it has more to do with Hermes. If you look at a lot of Hermes research, there were a lot of these symbols. He was essentially, if you remember, he was building comprehensive, like transmutation circles with a bunch of detailed symbolism and junk as part of meditation and energy moving and whatever he was doing. I think similar to the Hedron Collider, which is probably one of those. I think this line surrounding the Earth was the beginning of a complicated design that maybe was to envelop the Earth or a design that does in fact envelop the earth. And we have only found that specific 00:10:00 Jack: version of it interesting. Cristina: If it relates like, was he murdering them? Like, did they die off or did he kill them? Jack: No, no, no. Oh, well, that's another interesting. Cristina: Because we know the first. There was a different line and no one made it from that other line. Jack: So you think the Kearney. No. But the equator is just where everything moves along. I guess they must have done it ahead of time. Interesting. Interesting. Look at it like this. Look at it like this. Because this does have to make sense to some degree. Right. The equator gradually shifts place. The globe exists. And the equator is always by itself moving simply because of how rotations work and whatnot. So what if the line is starting to catch up? But they built society there and never told them. These guys are always working in secrecy. And the equator slowly kept migrating to that line. Slowly kept until it lined up. We know that alignments matter. We know the solaces work in Castillo in order to bridge a gate that allows people to go into the Shadow Realm and teleport along. So that's. Alignments matter. Somehow. If they built civilization, let's say north to south and started the line west to east, and it was always moving clockwise. It would eventually migrate from west to east to north to south. If in that moment something happened. Great transmutation. And all those people died. Philosopher stones. This could explain why some of these structures are some of the oldest ever seen. Cristina: Yes, they were. They weren't building on that line when it was the line. No, they were just way before the. Jack: Build on the line. That was unreal. And nothing they could track. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Or understand. Cristina: But someone did. Jack: Yes. And in order to get them to do this successfully, they did need technology. Maybe it was never about sharing the Technology. And the way we think about it, for Lucifer, maybe Jehovah man, we jump back and forth here real hard. Cristina: Bad guy. Jack: Who's the bad guy? Cristina: Okay. But Lucy was doing something sketchy. Jack: He was doing something sketchy. He was doing something really ridiculously sketchy. Because everybody was gone. Cristina: Yes. Jack: There's nobody there at all. It's all 100% gone. All that really exists is the ruins to that. And Jehovah recorded is telling him no. He is like, but come on, bro. We need this. Cristina: Yes. But we know he at least did it or tried to do whatever it was that he did twice. Jack: Because when he went to Shadow Realm. Cristina: No, because there was an old equator line that is destroyed of ruins and stuff. Jack: And the newer one, the new equator line, has nothing built on it. Cristina: It has nothing built on it. Jack: No. Oh, the new equator line is just where the line kept moving to. Cristina: Oh. Only the old one had the ruins. Jack: Only the old one had the ruined lines. Cristina: Oh, okay. Jack: If there is, we don't know where because nobody's thought about this. Cristina: Okay. Jack: And maybe it would be trackable. Maybe major cities line up in a way we never thought about or something. And then one day, by default, because. Cristina: It could be more than one line. Through the Earth. Jack: Yeah. Cristina: Around the earth. Jack: Yeah. Cristina: We just have to find. Jack: We would just have to find to connect the dots. Cristina: Yeah. And it has nothing to do with the equator. Just. We just need to see that pattern. Jack: But you know what's even scarier at this point, this means that 12,000 years ago, we weren't beginning to develop. We know that their technology was crazy, but they weren't beginning to develop immense technology. They were already at earth scale technology. 12,000 years ago, they could just, in one shot, boom, across the earth, kill everybody and make. Well, at least along the line of the equator. Maybe they didn't want to erase humanity. Cristina: That's what I was thinking. That the whole purpose of that would be so that not all of it was gone. Jack: So maybe they don't even need these factories like Epstein's Island. What the h*** is that for? Well, then again, where it's two different purposes. Cristina: Specific people. Jack: Yes. That's to drain. That's for adrenochrome. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Versus something like stone. The stones. So maybe they've been able to make stones casually, whenever they want. Cristina: Yeah. We just need to find more lines. Jack: We just need to find more lines. On the flip side, wars are an easy way, and they're clearly in charge of the government. Cristina: Somehow 00:15:00 Cristina: that seems more of adrenochrome. Than a stone thing? Jack: We don't know. Cristina: We don't know. Jack: We don't see. In some instances, we see the bodies, but in other wars, it's just like, oh, yeah, some private attack happened. And it's like, wow, really? Or is it only when we drop, like, bombs and we can't go look at the evidence? Like, that was probably no bomb. You guys are just showing us a bunch of. And really, at the end of the day, what happened was you guys made another stone. Cristina: Would the bodies disappear? Jack: The bodies would disappear. Cristina: Okay. Jack: If it's for adrenochrome, the bodies would stay. Cristina: Mm. That's why most of them has to be for adrenochrome. Jack: Have you seen the bodies in most of them? Cristina: I think someone has. Jack: How do you confirm that person was real and not just another person? Just saying. Oh, yeah, I saw it. Cristina: Oh. Jack: I bet North Korea makes stones regularly. Cristina: Who would know? Jack: I bet there's human farms there where they breed humans. Because nobody knows where they breed humans. And then just en masse. But you dilute the genetic pool if they're always just cattle. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: And you're just making the. There's something about the more complex the life force. Well, the life form than the more complex life force. Yeah. What is the rule? The more complicated the life form, the more complicated the life force. The less complicated the life form, the less complicated life source. It began a long time ago at Butterflies or some s***. Weird. Because we discovered a bunch of adrenochrome before we found out it was connected. Cristina: Mm. Jack: We found it through butterflies. Well, we've heard about it here and there, stumble upon things kind of pointing in that direction, then when they looked at it, and we found that through butterflies, that was, like, the original, like, attempt. And then other people throughout history, which I remember specifically, we looked into that were figuring it out in other ways. The countess in the 1700s or 1600, somewhere around there. It could have been the 13th. Who the h*** knows who was killing her? Her maze. That was for adrenochrome. And so we found, again, adrenochrome somewhere else, and we didn't. She might have not known, and we might have not known. But, again, a bunch of people did, though. So maybe she was in the in group who knew about adrenochrome. And although the people who wrote about it didn't get it, she knew why she was doing it. She stayed young, and they were all, oh, yeah, she was using it for her skin. And that was. Make her stay young. And it's like, no she was drinking that s***, bro. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: That's why she actually. That's why it actually worked. F***. That's exactly why it worked. She was killing them b****** and drinking it. And they were. The people reporting on it didn't really understand. They thought she was bathing in it, but she was just putting it in the tub to have a source of it. Cristina: Ew. Jack: She could continue to drink. I guess she was vampiring the f*** out. And this has a lot to do with the area she was in. They probably thought vampirism worked this way. We interpret it in the horror movie style, but vampires are relatively new. They weren't. Cristina: Vampires are based on adrenochrome. Jack: Vampires are actually just based on Dracula, and Dracula ain't even that old, so. S***. You get my point. Like, there wasn't a concept of vampires back then. Their understanding of a vampire was crap. Like the Countess. And like, Dracula could have easily been based on the Countess in a castle. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Attracting maids. Cristina: Yes. Jack: And drink. Literally drinking their blood. Cristina: It's the same story. Jack: It's the same story. And we found the Countess and we found a couple of, like, old school serial killers who were doing the same thing. We. We did that for Halloween one. So we were just looking at weird instances like that. We have a couple of really good Halloween episodes. Cristina: Well, didn't do any this year. You got anything for right now, this. Jack: Moment to do some Halloween? Cristina: Yeah. Jack: No, I don't now. We didn't do it for this year, but next year we should hit all the holidays. Find. I mean, it's interesting to go look at something that we haven't looked at for a while and with new eyes and find something we missed before. Cristina: Yes. Have we ever did a Thanksgiving thing? Jack: We've done many Thanksgiving. Cristina: Oh, yes, we have. But we haven't talked about the turkeys that we save that we pardon. I don't get that. Jack: We pardon turkeys. Cristina: Yeah. The President pardons turkeys every year. Yeah. He puts them in a hotel, keeps them fed and happy, and then he, I guess, brings them in front of people like the, like. I don't know, like the groundhog. Jack: Yeah. Cristina: And 00:20:00 Cristina: it's like, these turkeys cannot be eaten. Eaten. Jack: They must die of old age. Cristina: Yes. And I don't know how anyone keeps track of that. Jack: I bet. I bet that's the turkey the President eats. Cristina: Oh, that's awful. Jack: I bet some president was a douchebag and did that. If that's not the case, somebody was like, you know what? This is a stupid tradition. I want that turkey President. But no, no. Replace the turkey. Nobody's gonna know. I want that turkey. I want to eat a famous turkey. Cristina: The one that you said can never be eaten. That's messed up. Jack: Why? What's the difference? How would anybody even know as long as the illusion persists? Cristina: I don't know. I feel like you'll get. You will not get away with it. Jack: I. I want to get away with it. And then on my deathbed as president, I'll be like, get cameras and everything. I'll be or ex president, however that works. And I'll be like, for the world to know I ate that turkey. Cristina: That's messed up. Jack: Boom, boom. Will anybody give up? Nobody's gonna give a. They're gonna be like, he ate a turkey. Cristina: They're gonna say, you're a monster. Jack: If they. If it happened, like, the next day that it came out, they would be like, oh, my God. Yay, though. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Right now, most of them send you. Cristina: To jail to rest, to live the rest of your life to. Jack: I'm. I'm on my deathbed. Cristina: Who cares? You're gonna be in your deathbed in a jail cell. Jack: That's. I mean, I guess it wouldn't matter to me. Cristina: It wouldn't matter to you? Jack: No, no, it wouldn't matter. I'm already dying. Like, what do I got? Days. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Like, spend the rest of my days in a place that has to take care of me for a fact. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Whoa. Cristina: But you'll be in orange or whatever color those suits are, and then they. Jack: Die in a box. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: That's cool. Cristina: Okay. Jack: Concrete box. Who else did we find that was using adrenochrome? Oh, we found some Greek stories with it. That was afterwards. That was after we found out the Elysians. When do we find out they were called the Aletians? Cristina: Probably to do with Greece or Egyptians or. I think it was Egyptian. Jack: I think it was in the text that the Egyptians had discussing the Elysians, because they also referred to them as the Sea peoples. Cristina: And so did the Greek. Not the Greeks, the Mayans. Mayans. Jack: We looked at Maya a bunch of times. We looked at my. A long time ago without knowing they were connected to the Egyptians. Cristina: And we also, like, recently found out that they have portals to the shadow realm. Yes, that we think. We were thinking there. Jack: No, we knew they had portals to the shadow realm. We found out recently they were crossing people regularly. Cristina: Yes. Yes. That's happening everywhere. Jack: Yes. Cristina: And we had no clue that was happening. Jack: Yeah, we looked at that. Didn't know that there was this Entire civilization there went like two years without having any idea. Meanwhile, we found the. The villages around the world, including the one in Puerto Rico. That's a really famous one. All these groups that are just mixed shadow realm, Earth realm creatures found out. Cristina: All those people that were talking crazy stories about, like, I'm afraid that my child's gonna be kidnapped by a fairy. And then we realize, oh, crap, there's. Jack: They're onto something. They're on to. They were. It wasn't fairies, but they were kind of on the market. Cristina: Yeah, they were. They were close. Jack: They were close. They were close. There's a bunch of creatures kidnapping children. So it was based on some interesting y. Cristina: They were insane. Jack: No, man. It is a kind of weird road that took us here. Adrenochrome was a weird one. We found that so many times because. Cristina: It'S the easiest way. Jack: Everything, even by accident. I really, really. I always think about the story about the wolves in the. In the battlefield and how they would go out and like, when they were starving because the battlefield scared off all the other creatures, so they had nothing to hunt, and they were just out there feeding on the freshly dead people. But those people were in war, bro. They had just unloaded their guns, had the guns unloaded on them, seen friends die, seen bombs go off maybe in that time, or depending when. When wars happened. Because this was in the, what, the 17, 1970s, 1917s, and another one again in the 1950s. So there was bombs already. And like, this resulted in some crazy creatures, bro. Yes, that's nuts. Werewolves, which then, in hindsight, kind of informs our older story when we looked into werewolves and we found out that the natives would dress up with the. Cristina: Fur of the wolves and then turn into wolves. Jack: Not turn tools, but run 00:25:00 Jack: around the woods. Cristina: There was some stories of people wearing wolf fur and then turning into wolves. Jack: No, that's what they thought they saw. That's what the people. The. The white man. Cristina: Oh, he saw. Jack: Because they would see the. The problem is that they were with wolves. The natives in these areas would be wearing the fur of their family members who were wolves. They lived in nature with the wolves, naturally, and so they would be wearing the wolf fur and the wolf would be seen by the people who lived around there. And then they would see shortly thereafter, a native wearing wolf stuff, and they think it's the same thing. That's where the original myth of the werewolf came from. But the actual real world equivalent is a werewolf, a wolf drinking adrenochrome and then resulting. Cristina: The werewolf is a Wolf becoming a man and not a man becoming a wolf. Jack: Exactly. It's not becoming a man, but kind of getting a more bipedal look. It's very Pokemon. Cristina: Okay. Jack: You know, just transformed and now it's bipedal for whatever reason. So. Yeah. Cristina: I don't know. I feel like there are some men that claim to have turned into wolves, though. But are those just crazy people? Jack: No, because we also have people that were turning in the things. Not everybody has exactly the same reaction, but it's more or less the same reaction. We've had men turning into wolves. No, I don't think we've ever had people turning into the wolves. Cristina: There's a guy, I think for the church, he was confessing that the devil made him dress up as a wolf, turn into a wolf to fight the. No, the church forced him to turn into a werewolf so he can fight the demons or something. There's some wild story like that. Jack: We talked about it on the show. Cristina: Yeah, it was before all of this. It's way in the past of just talking about creatures not connecting to anything. Jack: That was when we were doing werewolves one and two, right? Yeah, man, I don't even remember that. Cristina: Yeah. I think he was claiming that the church would turn him and like a bunch of other homeless people into werewolves to fight demons. Jack: What the. Well, I don't remember all that. Cristina: I don't know what that is. But I know that they do have weird stuff happening. Jack: We know because the Church does weird s*** all the time. Cristina: Yes. They have portals and they also have items. Sacred items. Jack: Yes, they do, actually. Cristina: Body parts. Magical body parts of saints. Jack: Yeah. They hoard all the things with power they could find. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: But later we found out that was entirely because they were trying to erase the existence of magic and. Which is really just really complicated science. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: And the body parts and things are saving are. Because think about it. They're saving a cloth that was protecting Jesus and he came back to life in or something. And it's like. Well, that was some technology that was reviving him or whatever. Or that had like proof of some residue of some kind of compound that they don't need anybody to know exists, you know? Cristina: Okay. Jack: Of the fruit or something. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: So they. They keep all of these things. They either have some kind of ability attached to some complicated technology or whatever the case might be, and they confiscate it all and hide it. Cristina: That's crazy. Still. And this is how wolf biologically becomes that one. I believe the Wet Judge is the feral shadow realm version of a wolf. And the Windingo is the in control shadow realm version of a wolf. A lot of Shadow Realm creatures are ghost versions of earthrealm creatures because there's an inherent tie between them. Jack: Well, this is supported by all sciences, all religions and all philosophies that the. This association from the self unites us to the all. Another way of thinking about it is the texts that make it sound like it's a simulation. If the barriers are built around a certain type of code and you extract that code, then whatever code is left could exit the equation. Cristina: Okay, and then we just go back to the shadow realm. Jack: We can just be part of the shadow realm. So it's possible. Weird thought that everything within earthrealm is already a creature that might exist within the shadow realm, and we are just programmed with the external shell that we then think is ourselves. It's that he just made science. Figure it out. Cristina: Okay. I don't know. Jack: But the leap Jesus made is pretty impressive, especially if we. If we listen. If we listen, Deacon, listen. If we take the texts that make it sound like a simulation at face value and say, oh, yeah, that's definitely the true one. Jesus made it out of the simulation and into an Alfame robot. That's basically what we'd be saying. Yeah, he jumped to the middle stage. Or went through it. We know he went through it. Literally. He could enter the wider Internet. Cristina: But he's not the only one. Jack: No, he's not the only one. Because whatever quote AI unquote Hermes is can easily just walk out. And he was just Earthreal. So he is another Facebook AI. He's the original Facebook AI that managed to just get into a robot in her throne. Cristina: That's weird, but yes. But then I still don't understand, because Nagas are. Jack: I think Nagas are an attempt to do a biological cheat sheet for Hermes, because you can either study and get it. That's a. The filter is crazy. Phew. It's so hard. So few people have figured it out. Immense power. Even people who didn't figure it out. Alexander the Great There you go. Even people who didn't get it, what they did get, made them monstrously overpowered, but with limitations. The idea of a Naga bypass the limitations instantaneously. Shortcuts. It's all shortcuts. Cristina: Okay. Jack: Because the right way to do it would be learned hermetic principles. Follow the laws that Hermes lays out. Understand his lessons. He says it, it's the only way. And the proof kind of stands on it. The fact that nobody else figures it out. Cristina: Yeah, he figured it out. Jack: He did. Cristina: And nothing is like gonna figure it out after him though. Is Jesus really it? Jack: Well, we don't know. Merlin came after Jesus. Cristina: That's true. Just forget he's the most recent. Jack: Yeah, he's the most recent. He was whack, but he was the most recent. Then again he was way overpowered. Still time bending. Cristina: That's crazy. Jack: Yeah. Cristina: Even if he was defeated, it's still pretty crazy. Jack: I guess so. Well, yeah, he was tricked, but he was tricked by a fairy. He was killed off by a fairy. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Like you know. The question is, could Hermes know her? Is the problem is also Hermes has no goal. Think about how interesting this is. It doesn't look like. No, but St. Patrick's was associated. Even if he was human. Cristina: What do they mean? Jack: He was still associated with the Elysians. They called on him for help. Cristina: I don't know. Because of him and Santa makes it seem like the religion is behind is part of them or they made the Catholic Church. Right. Jack: The Catholic Church was made by the Elysians, but the Catholic Church employs humans. Cristina: Yeah, but to keep the Elysians secret. Jack: Yeah. The whole point is to keep the Elysian secret and to make Jesus just seem like he's unrelated to the Elysians. Cristina: Okay. Jack: Yeah. And it looks like, you know, they're neutral. And maybe they were priests who were like, we're gonna put. We're gonna send you on a quest. We're gonna send priests. Maybe that's the point of priests. Raising some priests regularly to a school out in Greece where they're gonna come across a series of tests and tasks at the School of L. If they pass enough of them, you're going to get into a special class and you're going to take it and you're hopefully going to pass that class. That class is all that matters. Everything you're going to do for the next 20 years of your life is pure training to try to pass one class. That's it. Good luck. And then, you know, just kept sending people, kept sending people, kept sending people and one guy, St. Patrick, makes it through and meets Hermes and takes classes with him and, and St. Nicholas makes it through and gets there. But how many hundreds of other priests went there and like tried and they could, didn't even know what they were there for other than I told I was going to do this my whole life. And I'm not going to get married, I'm not going to have children, and I'm going to go back and go, you know, I dedicated my life to them. I'm gonna go lead a church and I'm gonna be great. I'm gonna have it said and made. But I don't know what the beginning of that path was. And only few of them, and they disappear forever. Now it's the, the St. Patrick's of the world. It was like, no, I'm an OG. I got the abilities that they want. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: And so those are in house necromancers. Hermes is neutral party if they can, if they. Anybody who can get my teachings can get my teachings. Cristina: So you think he was training? Jack: He was at Lesium as written by Aristotle. Cristina: In his notes, they say for how long? Jack: Unclear, but he was at Lesium, so that's fact number one. The specific lines were that he was waiting for the special students. And Aristotle's take on that is that his students were the elite students, the students that had taken all their other classes, the students that have aced everything else. And it's a school of philosophy. What the f*** does it mean to ace that? It means to understand everything there. Cristina: Which makes sense for what you need for Hermes. Jack: You got to enter equipped in every aspect of everything. And so you get to his class. Most people didn't make it. And I don't know how he would evaluate them, but he must have been looking at the notes of the other teachers there and been like, I want that student on that guy. He seems to be doing good every class specifically in these topics, which means he understands the nuance I'm looking for. Maybe all the other teachers were just cover. Cristina: For the real goal. Jack: For the real goal. Everything is designed as an intricate filter. And it's, it's a tournament. There's one winner. Of course, there's more multiple winners. But in this case, you know, to picture it better, it's tournament style. The guy who makes it to the championship past all the tests, but you still got to eliminate, eliminate, eliminate. And so you can't have a huge class of thousands of people. You got to be very restrictive. And maybe not. Maybe anybody who can make it can make it. Except people don't make it because it's really hard to get. Cristina: Mm. That's really hard. Jack: It's really abstract. Cristina: Mm. Jack: Really abstract. But it all makes perfect sense is the problem. So you gotta be able to understand really abstract thoughts in order to then bend reality with your mind the way that Hermes suggest can happen. And that we've found this proof through Naga and other necromancers and the people who cheat and manage to get a stone and aren't necromancers because that's so op. Cristina: Yeah. But he's the reason that there are stones. Jack: Yes. He invented them. Cristina: That's crazy. Jack: Yep. He is so good at being secretive. Hermes. He's so good at being secretive and so good at making things that we didn't know that both parts of the craft 01:10:00 Jack: were literally him. We found the first part and we're like, he made the thing like somebody else made the other part and improved on it. No, it was also him. It's just. It's hard to connect any part of things that have to do with him because everything exists in isolation. Because he's so good at just disappearing off of that side of the planet and popping up over here and doing a bunch of crap over here and stays over here for a thousand years and disappears over here. And he's over there now. No given. Doesn't seem to care about the passage of time. Doesn't seem to care about what side anybody's on. Does no barriers exist. I'm in this room. I'm in that room. Whatever. Cristina: That's what he does. Jack: Very godlike. He reminds me a Q from Star Trek. Cristina: Probably less of a troll than him, though. Jack: We have no idea. We have no, no idea. Not a clue what his personality is like. Not a clue. We know some people had character to them. Some of the Elysians were like, you know, you can imagine them. The guy who's just whoring around banging humans. Cristina: Okay. Jack: You're probably a chill dude. Bro. Cristina: Know. Jack: You know, he's just a dude. He's out there just linging, slinging his come everywhere he goes. Cristina: We don't know anything about Hermes. Jack: Who the h*** does? Cristina: I thought he's a weirdo or not weirdo. He's just secretive. Jack: He's private. Cristina: Private. Jack: We got stories from Santa. We got stories from Patrick. We got Jehovah stories. He seemed to be pretty chill, but kind of stern dude. Lucifer seems kind of more worrisome. He's these would, you know, panicky Lilith has a bit of attitude to what she does. Everybody has characteristics based on everything we found. And then Hermes is like, I don't know about you, dude. I don't know if you're, like, serious jokey. If you're like, you know, expressions. He's robed. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Every description of him, robes. Nobody sees this face. Even his homies have no idea if he's smiling or not. He's talking to a robe all the time. Cristina: That's kind of crazy. It's pretty crazy. We don't know anything weird. There could be more than one. Jack: There could totally be more than one. But also, he can bend time. What the. Cristina: Like, why do you need more than one? Jack: Why do you need more? He's everywhere. He's everywhere. He's all over the place. Everybody's Hermes at one point. It's like, no, it's the same dude. We thought it was multiple people. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: And then it's like, no, it's the same guy. What? How? How, How, How? In fact, we thought it was so multiple people because Loi is the title and Hermes exists. And we're like, that's probably the title, too. And he existed back then, and they knew each other. Weird. So different people. And then we're like, nope, it turns out same guy. It's like, how the f*** does this work out? We still haven't even proven that about Loi. Cristina: I don't think he's. I mean, I think he is more than one guy. Jack: Loi feels like a title. And the way they describe the giant ship shifts in behavior. Feels like different people. Feels like a title within the family or a job position or political role or something. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: Hermes is literally the guy's name. He'll go by a different name. And then tell them, I'm Hermes. They gave me this name over here. But Hermes is from actual name. Cristina: Weird. Yeah. Jack: And he'll write it. He'll be like, I'm Hermes. Cristina: He writes it, I'm Hermes. Jack: I'm Hermes. And then he made the emerald. He made this, everybody. No, Hermes. Geras Magista's made this. Don't happen. How? How do you do this in Europe? And then at the same time, he made that in Afghanistan, bro. Let's have a real conversation. Cristina: Because time travel. Jack: Because time travel. Cristina: And because there's nothing really. Jack: Instantaneous teleportation. Cristina: Exactly. Jack: And, like, it doesn't matter. Cristina: Solution to any problem is time travel. For Hermes 100. Jack: That explains ever once that's. It's like, yeah, you could bend time. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: So you're just hanging out back there, like the day you chilled with that guy's grandson millions of years later. Cristina: Mm. Jack: To you it was minutes apart. Cristina: Yeah. Jack: You just skadoodled across and it's a. It's seamless. If we were watching you from a movies perspective, you're like, all right, Jehovah, I'll let him know. You take two steps, we zoom in on you. You take two steps, none of the scenery changes. And now you're standing in front of Loi. Hey. Your grandson said this. And when we zoom out, we see Eloi, but not Jehovah. That's how seamless it would be to him. Cristina: That's pretty crazy. Jack: He didn't think about it just there. Cristina: That's totally how it could work. I don't know. Jack: And from the point of view of both of these individuals, he never left. Cristina: Mm. Jack: Because he can pop into the same fraction of a second he left that with Jehovah and walk right into that same moment and be like, your grandfather said this. And from your point of view to my. I'm right now, I'm Hermes. And right now you're Jehovah. And you tell me you need to tell my grandfather to add this, this, and that to 01:15:00 Jack: the equation starting on this next sentence. I'm Hermes. Okay. All right, Jehovah, I'm gonna go tell your grandfather right now what to do. Listen, Loi, it's very important that you add these couple of parts. Now. Loi tells him whatever it's like. Okay. I'm gonna make sure your grandson knows this. Jehovah. Listen, he said that, that one sentence, he's gonna talk to two people across time. And to him it's gonna feel consistent and linear to them. Not a moment past the moment you said links. Cristina: And then he sees a different person. Jack: Yeah. Cristina: Okay. Jack: And time has stopped over there. Cuz not really. He's just in the past and he's gonna go back to that same moment. Cristina: Okay. Okay. That's crazy. That's his ability though. Jack: Does his ability though super overpowered. And he can do that at any point in time, at any place in time? That's God. Cristina: That's ridiculous. Yes. That's good. I don't think there's anything above that. Jack: I don't think there's anything above that. Minus whatever exists in Alpha that we have no reference point for. Yes, but the realms we are aware of. Even elves don't touch this. Nagas don't touch this. Cristina: As far as we can tell. Jack: Yeah. It would have to be the theory of the simulation. And it would have to be that MAB is a programmer and only then, because then she'd have the ability to like deprogram the robot, shut off the Internet, whatever. Cristina: But she can't. So it's not that. Jack: Or she should. We don't know if she can. Maybe she is just one of the programmers at the big company. The company really owns the Internet. She just knows how to work. She's the best worker, knows how to do it. Okay, but she can shut it off and ruin the project and save the world if it got that bad. Stop things from getting out and just destroy the robot that they got into. Whatever. Try not to. Expensive project maybe. Whatever that might mean in that realm. Cristina: Yeah, you know. Jack: Anyways, that's the road that took us to where we are. It's just all random pieces, man. Cristina: But it makes somewhat sense. Jack: It is composed. It makes perfect sense. It is a rational, reasonable, thought out kind of. Our job is to ground things like we said. Cristina: And we did it. Jack: Yeah, we've been doing it like you said. We've been doing it the entire time we've been grounding things. And those are all examples of how we've grounded things. And we added some groundings to thumbs things in. Just by talking about grounding things, we just grounded some more things. Yes, that's how we do now. The problem with explaining to the listeners that we do ground things and giving them examples is that it took an hour to do so. So we never got to get to the notes. Okay, so next time we're definitely going to get to the notes. But this time at least we grounded some things. Cristina: Which is the point. Jack: Which is the point. The job got done. Cristina: The job got that. Jack: The job got done. Cristina: It always gets done. Jack: It always gets done. What exactly is the Minotaur? What was its purpose? Where does it come from? The duo unpack the many myths and hidden stories of one of Greece’s most infamous creatures in a search to find any shred of relevant data that could help inform them beyond previously reached barriers in the data related to the Elysians or Clinton Road.

Cristina: What does live mean?

Jack: Welcome to the Rambling podcast. I'm your host, Jack.

Cristina: And I'm your host, Christina.

Jack: And this is the show where we ground humanity's most absurd and baffling ideas, of which there are many. Humanity is very absurd and baffling.

Cristina: We are.

Jack: Yeah, yeah. Very confusing, absurd and baffling individuals. And so to catch anybody new up, we have been recently looking at or trying to solve what the h*** is at the bottom of Cross Castle, which is essentially located in West Milford around Clinton Road. What is considered to be the most haunted place planet Earth. And there happens to be a castle that a bunker was made and everything inside of it was private for quote, official government reasons, unquote. And to keep mining goods protected. Allegedly. But everything about the situation is really weird. And has tunnels leading to towns where the exit and entrances are unknown, a secret in and out in the woods that nobody knows where it might be and the castle having been destroyed, making accessing the bunker underneath impossible from that location and only accessible through the other passageways that connect through different towns. Weird, random things going on.

Cristina: Strange. Yes.

Jack: And this place happens to be located again where the spookiest, most haunted things take place. Except that we can tell a lot of these things line up with things that we've researched and looked up in the past, including creatures from different realms and in. You know, there's a lot of science going on, ancient sciences going on and modern day science is going on and things that allow people to move to ethereal states and to cross into non physical ways and to manipulate the fabric of reality in different manner, shapes of forms or what not. Usually being necromancers or things along those natures. Although in modern day we use the word which was druids. Druids supersedes necromancers. But it's an incorrect words. Ka. Druids kind of lacks the very specific nature of a necromancer having to die to get where he's going.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: And a druid doesn't need to. A druid is just some other thing. A low budget necromancer at best was.

Cristina: Just hanging out in the woods.

Jack: Yes. And so we have gone on. Sometimes we look at other areas to get informed about other areas. And sometimes we look at things that are more or less related or they have patterns that seem relative to each other in order to get informed on things that in a lot of time it works, you know, sometimes it doesn't and we just find something cool to look at.

Cristina: Yeah, that's so cool.

Jack: Yeah. But sometimes we actually connect the dots and it works. And it's. Oh, yeah, this is clearly related to that. And. And sometimes we just go monster hunting as well.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Because there's weird creatures out there. And sometimes monster hunting answers questions we didn't know we had that do inform these other things. Because monsters aren't really monsters, per se. It's usually just some kind of science freak, and science is way more than modern society accepts.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: But that being said, today we have something a little interesting to look at, and this is one of those times that I need you.

Cristina: Oh, boy.

Jack: To tell the audience what you're looking at, because they're not going to be able to see it. IO only podcast. So I need you to paint the picture of what you are currently looking at in front of you.

Cristina: I don't know. It's. I'm sure it has a name. I don't know what the name is. It's a mythical creature. Greek mythical creature.

Jack: Fascinating.

Cristina: All right. I'm sure it has a name. I just don't know what it is. It's like a. I keep thinking centaur, but it's not a centaur. It's some type of beast. It's got hooved legs, horns, red eyes, making you, I guess, think it's like a devil creature, whatever, you know, like, if you. But it looks.

Jack: More detail. More detail.

Cristina: I'm thinking very muscular. Yes, very muscular. Man or lion. Go thing. I don't know. That's covering its private parts because it carries and it has a belt and it's holding a stick, I think. Could be a stick. Could be some type of weapon. I don't know. Inside. I don't know what he's inside of.

Jack: Interesting, right? He's inside something for sure.

Cristina: Yeah. Could be underground. Could be. I don't know. It has a toe, I think. I think so. I don't know. It looks like a combination of different animals.

Jack: What animals would you say it looks like?

Cristina: A lion? A bull, maybe? Because the horns are like a bull.

Jack: Elaborate on the horns.

Cristina: They're long, curvy, pointy. I think he has ears, though, underneath it.

Jack: Yes, I see that, too.

Cristina: Yeah. And he has the hair. The lion mane thing happening. I think. Like, it's. But his arms are very human.

Jack: Minus the fact that he seems to have, like, sharp talons at the very end. It's just hands, right?

Cristina: Yeah, yeah. They look like regular muscular hands and torso with. I don't Know what's happening with his legs? His legs are goat legs. He's like a combo of different animals.

Jack: Okay, okay, okay. Describe his face a little.

Cristina: I don't really can't talk because it's really bad. Like he's in the shadow. So half of his face is missing. Okay. Is that his teeth? His teeth is showing. I'm not really sure what his nose looks like.

Jack: I would argue he has a bit of a gorilla looking nose.

Cristina: Yeah, a gorilla looking sort of face. I think besides the mouth that's sticking out. I don't know if the mouth, the teeth. If that's the teeth. Sharp teeth. And the ears. I'm not sure what animal the ears look like.

Jack: I would also say that's kind of goat like. Yeah, it feels very goat like to me.

Cristina: The ears are like goats. The. I don't know the. If that's goats too. The horns is either go go or fascinating. What did I say before? Bull.

Jack: Interesting, interesting.

Cristina: With the hair of like a lion.

Jack: Definitely something reminiscent, right? Something you've seen before to some degree.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Okay, we're gonna take a look again at a different image of this creature. More. More variation of the same creature. So you could paint a little more picture. Maybe it'll. It'll zero in on something. Anything you notice different here. These are all just based on things that have been described of this creature.

Cristina: What's the one next to it? There's the same thing. Are very similar. The first, the one to the left. The one to the left looks very similar except his legs are thinner, very thin. But everything else looks almost the same. His hair is curlier. I guess it's long and curly. Looks more like a goat, I guess. And then he's next to a creature. I'm not really sure. I guess it's supposed to be him too, but just all animal side of him. Is he some type of werewolf?

Jack: No, this is supposed to be exactly the same thing in one state. It's just the level of descriptions are so varied that we can land at these two different images.

Cristina: So he always has the red hair and the horns and those goat like red hair, red hairs, red eyes, curly hair, long hair or not curly. Maybe wavy. Wavy hair.

Jack: Fur.

Cristina: Fur. That second. What is that second animal? It's not a bull though. But it's. That's like a hairy bull.

Jack: Interesting, right? There's something going on there.

Cristina: It's a hairy ball. A giant hairy. Giant hairy bull or goat. I think there's been goats that big.

Jack: No, no. H*** no. There's no Chance there has been anything this size in all of mention, other than this one thing.

Cristina: Okay. This is. It's. It has to be a ball that's just got his. Very hairy. That's very hairy. And the creature looks like a human version of that animal, I guess.

Jack: Interesting. Okay, so the animal's name that you were trying to get to is a minotaur.

Cristina: Yes, that's a minotaur. No.

Jack: Yeah, that would be essentially the minotaur.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: But we're gonna look at one more image. This is to size, scale, kind of giving you an idea of how big these things really are. Paint this picture.

Cristina: There's a. I guess in the middle is a man, or what a man is supposed to be the size of. I think there's numbers next to him.

Jack: Ignore the numbers.

Cristina: Okay. Well, it's huge. What the mentor, Whether it's a human version of the manotaur or the animal version of the manotaur, they're huge. They're like two humans standing, like if two. If a person had a person on top of them is the size of whichever of these creatures you want to talk about?

Jack: Yes. Easily nine to ten feet tall, right?

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: And what details can you tell us about these individuals as you're seeing them here? More. I got more specific each time I'm showing you an image. So now you get more detail, more details.

Cristina: I don't know because it looks a lot like the other one. I don't know if there's any real difference.

Jack: Got you. I'll start painting the picture. Then. His legs. The hooved sort of animalistic legs that this, AKA Minotaur, would have is wrapped with leather bindings and some sort of metallic plate to protect its knees. It seems that would normally be exposed. There's something that looks like a kilt or something that's around its waist, probably made from fur and leather. And then around its chest, it has a weapon harness. At the same time, the face still maintains a sort of animalistic face. I would argue here it's even closer to a goat.

Cristina: Looks like a lion.

Jack: You think it looks like a lion?

Cristina: Fair enough.

Jack: It also looks kind of like a lion. Yeah, fair enough. Very exaggeratedly muscular arms, muscular upper body. In every version of it, its upper body is extremely muscular. It definitely does have a tail. It doesn't have hair. It has fur. Oftentimes the fur seems to be focused on the head and the neck or the legs. There's very little fur focusing on the body part. It seems like in every version of this, the body seems to be unexposed. There's a very neck, a little bit of fur on the arms and much on the legs, the hooved legs usually more towards the bottom, but there's some iterations with it a little higher, you get a little fur around the waist. So in, for lack of a better word, it's a minotaur. Yes, except we're gonna have quite a couple of better words.

Cristina: Oh, okay.

Jack: So the minotaur kind of a known, probably one of the more known, less discussed creatures from Greek mythology.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: And it coming from Greek mythology tells us a couple of details right off the bat. If you have something weird and it came from Greek mythology, there's one group of people we can just point.

Cristina: Zeus and his buddies.

Jack: Yes, Always they're doing something weird. Always. So that's a good place to start looking for what the h*** a minotaur is.

Cristina: Okay, Right.

Jack: So doing some digging, we have some basic details here. Minotaur, the word literally translates to minos bull, so man bull.

Cristina: Oh, okay.

Jack: Literally what it means. The stories of the Minotaur take place roughly around 1500 BC to 1300 BC. Now, outside of our descriptions that we gave to those images, there are some localized descriptions that we can give that come from text. Specifically, body of a man, head of a bull. That's the most obvious kind of descriptor.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: Yeah, between 7 and 10ft on average. Okay, let's go to its head specifically. Yeah, it's huge, monstrous sized thing. Now, aside from its bull like head, it tends to have long curved horns. These long curved horns can be seen on bulls. These long curved horns can be seen on goats. These long curved horns can be seen on plethora of different creatures. And kind of really pronounced and large. Specifically on him, presumably because of his exaggerated size, again, 7 to 10ft is kind of excessive.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So the horns would presumably be some monstrously sized things.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: Fascinating thing that immediately gets my attention is glowing red eyes.

Cristina: Yes. Why?

Jack: Because it hints towards a lot of things that are curious. Glowing red eyes seems to be a feature of a lot of shadow realm things. Large flaring nostrils, reminiscent of something like an ape. Of something like a bull. Snarling mouth with incredibly sharp teeth. Now this is interesting because its face is. Its mouth in particular seems to be sort of almost a combination of an ape and the lion. Midway.

Cristina: Yeah. It's the sharp teeth from the lion.

Jack: Interesting. Right. Its face protrudes a little, which is unlike an ape. But the structure of the face and the pushing of the nose has a kind of ape like Structure to it. There's an interesting set of details here. Now, on its head it has short coarse fur covering most of its face and its neck usually coming from its head, appearing oftentimes like a lion's mane.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: But also goats tend to have a kind of facial wrap like that. Interesting enough. So do bison, which I would argue.

Cristina: Is what they're trying to go for in these.

Jack: Well, at least the more animalistic version of him was like a bison with horns at this point.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: And just its face and head is generally very thick and muscular. A very powerful looking creature. Now details outside of these descriptions that show up in sentences as well, but more like in literal sentences, as opposed to somebody just kind of chalking off what they thought looked like when they saw it and wrote it down. The face seems primarily human with extremely pronounced animalistic bull like features. It tends to have a beard that resembles that of a goats. Very similar to what we're saying.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So this is a translation into English from something from a Greek text that is literal sentence, a paraphrase. Not literally word for word, but it is a paraphrase of what they were trying to get to, which is. Yeah, bull like features and a goat like thing going on. Let's discuss. Its torso now has very broad, powerful chest, oftentimes ginormous, kind of leading to the typical masculine V shape you want. Tiny waist, huge shoulders. And he definitely has a highly muscular. The build is quite defined because of how muscular it is. Extremely veiny, extremely like you. You lift too much, bro. You mad swole.

Cristina: Very bull like. Bulls are pretty muscular creatures.

Jack: Yeah, very stocky. Yeah, very swole. Now its torso is covered in coarse fur, but often leaving the chest and belly area is exposed. So the fur kind of focuses on the back and on the side.

Cristina: Makes me think of like a gorilla type.

Jack: Yes, it definitely has that right. Because gorillas chests seem to be more bare. Well, it depends on the gorilla too. But yeah, it seems to be more bare and whatnot. And although those images weren't too specific on this detail, oftentimes its ribcage is pronounced through its muscular build. That's how tight its muscles are and how tight its skin is. You can kind of see the formation. Not like super protruding and nasty like it's dying of hunger or something, but rather you can tell it's so tight that its rib cage tends to be shown. Okay, now here's an interesting detail. It's often depicted whether wearing a leather strap in an X fashion that is used to hold axes and other weapons as we are familiar with because it tends to have two axes.

Cristina: Okay. I wonder why.

Jack: But.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: Its arms, again, thick, muscular, kind of almost exaggeratedly so. Way more than its body. Its body is exaggerated, but you gotta then exaggerate farther to get to the ridiculously absurd size of its arms. And as we noted, its hands have sharp claws instead of natural human like nails. So it's a normal human like hand, other than it's ginormous and probably like three times the size of your head. But then instead of nails, actual claws, you can just swipe at something and cut it open.

Cristina: Like a lion, I guess. I don't know if it's like a combo of different animals, maybe.

Jack: Weird, right?

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Like it's unclear what we're looking at ultimately. What the h*** are they gonna claim the minotaur really is? If these are all the descriptors.

Cristina: Yeah, weird.

Jack: It's a weird creature for sure. And so slight fur covers the upper arms and usually the. The back of the hand, never the palm. Very gorilla. Like again.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: It has very defined biceps and triceps. And again, veins visibly covering its arms. Like it's really ripped and jacked.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: And then its legs, very strong muscular thighs and upper legs covered in coarse fur, particularly around the thighs. Hoofed feet instead of human like feet. Defined calves and thighs, Slightly bent knees in a stance, ready for action. Oftentimes like a goat or a bull or these kinds of animals, horses and whatnot, that have a position to sprint instantly into action. Usually wearing a leather and fur kilt used to hold potions and weapons or different. Of different types.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: And for his legs, I also have a little descriptor, which is the stance and bent of the knees resembles that of animals much like a horse, bull, goat, or other animal, seemingly always at a slight bent angle. This is descriptors. This is again a paraphrased sentence from Greek. So.

Cristina: No, I don't know.

Jack: Yeah, it's some like, weird other thing, right?

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So overall notes on stance are slightly hunched posture. It's never perfectly wrecked. It's always got like a sort of lean forward going on. It looks really aggressive no matter what it's doing. Like, it could just be relaxing and looking exceptionally aggressive. But. And because of this, it kind of always appears ready to attack, like a lot of these animals. Like a horse always looks ready to jump into action. Always so weird creature. Looking at the descriptions, I was like, this is kind of weird. So based on these notes, the animals you've listed or what?

Cristina: Goats, gorilla, lion, bull.

Jack: Bull and Human.

Cristina: Human, yes.

Jack: Got a couple of things going on, right?

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Which one would you say is more dominant?

Cristina: The human, other than the human. Okay. Bull.

Jack: Bull, right. Looks very dominant. What would be second goat? Right. So we would say that the lion and the gorilla are almost not even present.

Cristina: Yeah. Except it has some tiny features that make it more lion, which is like the mouth is lionish.

Jack: I would argue that gorillas have sharp teeth.

Cristina: They do. Okay, Then the face is gorilla. Ish. But it has a mane that looks very lionish.

Jack: But also goats have that.

Cristina: Goats have that. Oh, yeah. And then the claws, though. That's not a ghost thing? That's not a gorilla thing?

Jack: No, it's totally not.

Cristina: It's not any of those creatures.

Jack: It has to be some cat or some s***, right?

Cristina: Yeah. So it look very odd.

Jack: It looks really weird. If you were to give this creature a name, what would it be? What type of creature is it? Not what species. But if you were to say this is classified as this, would you have a word for it?

Cristina: Crap. I'm pretty sure there's a word and I can't think of that word, but I know it. There is a word, is a word.

Jack: For a fusion of creatures.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: A chimera.

Cristina: Yes, it's a chimera.

Jack: It definitely comes across like a chimera. It looks like a fusion of things. So, yeah, that was weird. And so I was like, well, this is a chimera. I was like, this is interesting. Let's see what more I can find. Just details that exist in history about it.

Cristina: But the claws thing, it does have claws. Is that. That was the description?

Jack: Yeah. Has talons instead of nails.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: So looking for what is happening here, I went and looked for some behaviors associated with this thing. And it immediately led me to the fact that this thing is aggressive behavior wise, aggressive, savage. In nature, the Minotaur is depicted as a ferocious and bloodthirsty creature prone to violence and driven by primal instincts.

Cristina: Isn't it like protecting something?

Jack: What is it protecting?

Cristina: I don't know, like an entrance or something. It's kind of like the Locknik monster story where it's like there's a hideout and they're protecting it. So maybe he's protecting an entrance to something or a treasure or, you know.

Jack: Yeah. Feels like a troll you can't pass unless you get through me. Definitely. Definitely has that vibe. Right. It's known for killing and devouring those that cross its path, making it a feared and deadly adversary. Well, isolation is interesting with this creature, the Minotaur. Is known for its isolation, which could represent an inability to fit into either human or animal worlds because of its weird kind of night, neither here nor there vibe. And additionally, this sort of solitude might have contributed to its aggressive nature in the first place.

Cristina: Okay, so then when they're describing this creature, is it just one or are there a few of them known and being described?

Jack: There is one.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: Which you will learn in the story of it.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: That I will tell you because you asked. So the story goes as follows. King Minos of Crete. Crete is the most populous of the Greek islands. It's the most populated. Offended Poseidon, one of the Greek researchers. Poseidon then cursed Minos by causing his wife, Queen Palisafe, to fall in love with the magnificent bull.

Cristina: Oh, okay.

Jack: As a result of this unnatural union, the Minotaur is born.

Cristina: Oh. Oh, okay. What? I thought he was the thing that she fell in love. Oh, my gosh.

Jack: No, she fell in love. He was just a dude. She fell in love with a bull and then kind of let the bull lay down some pipe.

Cristina: Okay. Okay.

Jack: Yeah. Bestiality. Casually to hide the monstrous offspring, King Minos ordered the construction of a labyrinth.

Cristina: Okay. That's exactly where I would imagine him being.

Jack: Okay, that word doesn't just stand out to you.

Cristina: A labyrinth, like what? Like the thing underneath Clinton Road. I don't know.

Jack: And, like, what else?

Cristina: There's another one. Labyrinth is the house counted as the house. That's how she has the house. Okay.

Jack: It's a maze. A labyrinth is another word for maze.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: And her house was a maze. And so. Yeah. So he constructs a labyrinth. Huh? A creature from the Greek experiments or whatever the crap. This is some, you know, bestiality moment, and you create a labyrinth to put it in. Somehow the story immediately smells like bullshit and, like, you guys are covering something up to me.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Now, the labyrinth is beneath his palace where the Minotaur was imprisoned and fed with human sacrifices from Athens. Such a specific set of words and events.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Human sacrifices in a labyrinth?

Cristina: They might not be related. Okay. I mean, they could be, but, like, sacrifices could be something else happening down there.

Jack: Like what?

Cristina: Stones being made. I don't know.

Jack: Interesting. Okay, that's a great. What other thing?

Cristina: What other thing?

Jack: What do you think was happening in the house? That you would suggest stones in this labyrinth and not on that one?

Cristina: Oh, some type of portal to the other side. Great.

Jack: What do you think is happening at the bottom of Clinton Road? That you would suggest stones here and not there?

Cristina: I guess. Because I don't know about missing people because there's dead people here. I don't know the other two stories.

Jack: Clinton Road, where hundreds of people go missing. There's a whole point about that.

Cristina: Oh, well, then, yes, Maybe that's happening there too.

Jack: That's kind of why we looked there in the first place.

Cristina: Focus so much on the ghost story. I forget about the dead that are the people that are missing. Being missing doesn't mean they're dead because they're missing. Like, it's hard to say 100% while you're saying there are dead. These people are dead for sure.

Jack: Dead, like, well, he's feeding on them, so they're dead.

Cristina: So they're dead, but they're being sacrificed or something.

Jack: According to the words. Yes. Now, guardianship, the labyrinth's protector is ultimately the Minotaur because he's who's there all the time. And he acts as a guardian and gatekeeper of the labyrinth, making a symbol of challenge and an obstacle that must be overcome. People get thrown there, and if you can make it out, you are a warrior. Worth note. This is a challenge for you. You're gonna be sacrificed because you're a piece of crap who maybe broke some law. But if you make it out, you're one of our heroes and you're probably joining us.

Cristina: Okay, interesting.

Jack: Except how do you beat the Minotaur and then somebody else can go and face him. You didn't kill him. What does beating the Minotaur then mean?

Cristina: Reaching the doorway that he's protecting. I don't know.

Jack: I guess the way out. Yeah, just like they throw you in through this side, and there's no way to scale the wall. And somewhere there's a door with stairs, and he's going to try to kill you before you get there. Yeah, fair. So within the labyrinth, his behavior is labeled specifically as predatory hunting. Sort of, yeah. The Minotaur is often portrayed as hunting those who enter the domain, stalking them through the maze, like corridors of the labyrinth. A horror movie immediately. There should be a badass movie about this somewhere, about, like, running away from the Minotaur and is chasing you through the chambers or whatever.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Cool. Now trapping the victims, the victims themselves in there. So it serves as a trap, with the Minotaur lying in wait for unsuspecting victims who cannot find their way out. Which leans into what you're saying, a way out. There must be a way out. And you must find the way out before he finds you. So you don't have to kill him. You have to find your Way out. It's a game.

Cristina: There's no way you're gonna kill him.

Jack: There's no way you're gonna kill him. Is a 10 foot monster with weapons deader for a 10 foot monster.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: So interesting. It's a game of sorts. Right. At least it seems like, you know, old school coliseum vibes.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: We throw you into the thing will here, will he not modern day. We would just trap every hallway with cameras and make it a show. There's a minotaur down there. It's. It's the Minotaur hour. And today's contestant is Bob. And Bob is gonna be tossing or hopefully he doesn't die on his way down. Then the crowd all cheers. Ah, hopefully doesn't die.

Cristina: Yeah. So we get FL flashbacks to him having an interview beforehand. Yes.

Jack: He, you know, when he sits in front of the camera, he's like, why are you doing this? Well, I feel like I'm the right guy and I can totally accomplish this. I want to be world champion of escaping Minotaur.

Cristina: Yes. And I also don't want to die because I stole.

Jack: Yeah. You know, I was being put to death and I was like, I'll do the minotaur run.

Cristina: I'm fast.

Jack: Yeah. And then I'll become a warrior. Just don't kill me. So. Yeah, fair enough. Like I would watch that show. Just don't throw innocent people. Throw people who have it coming. I mean, theft isn't enough to be thrown in a cage, to be murdered viciously by some monster 10 times your size. And to be fair, we've described it as a human and bull. So it's an animal for sure. And it could smell you. So it's probably way harder to win this than you think.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: It could just find you through scent. And also it knows where people are being thrown to.

Cristina: Yes. There's many.

Jack: My bet would be the only way this could really work. There has to be multiple routes that you can take. Otherwise it's not fair. You're always going to cross paths. Because the idea would be he would start at the door out and you would start at the only way in. So you got to find your way through the maze to the door out. And he's going to start at the door out and try to hunt you. So there must be more than one way to get there so that if he goes one, maybe you can dodge him.

Cristina: Well, that's very maze like. Yeah, exactly.

Jack: Checks out. But he can also track you better because he's an animal who can probably smell you.

Cristina: Yes. Or if it's like Quincen row, then there's many ways in and many ways out. You just have to get out of. Not. You can't go through the way you came in. That's probably the only rule.

Jack: Fair. And unless you. Yeah. Cuz you probably got pushed in from some height that you can't compensate because you're human. But yeah, there's probably multiple ways. And to make it more complicated, assuming because of the nature of what we're talking about, a maze, it's probably not just many ways in and many ways out, but I think literally one way in and one way out. But you can go to a dead end.

Cristina: Many dead ends.

Jack: Not know it's a dead end. And it just connects you to a whole other part of the maze. Somewhere where you just pop up and you're like, I don't. I'm super confused now. So it's probably a mess like that where you could enter all the way at the farthest left, pop up all the way at the farthest right. So you gotta figure this mess out. Like that. But interesting. Again, if that's the case, then it's a little harder for the minotaur to catch you, thus making it more even Your scent is on this side and then it just pops up over there. But you're also heavily confused roaming these halls.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Thus kind of a level playing field at that point.

Cristina: I can't imagine many winners though, right? Or any winner. I don't know.

Jack: So what do we think is actually happening based on this? We're talking about a game, but they're talking about you throw an individual into the maze and this creature hunts you. What's happening?

Cristina: What's happening? Well, if he. I don't know if he's. He's not part of the gods, he's just a random guy. So what could he possibly have to protect? How is he important to anything, this king?

Jack: Well, he's not said to be protecting anything other than the maze. According to the narrative, he's trying to eat whatever thrown in. So it's just a, you know, it's punishment system where you can probably make it out. I guess the reward is if you don't feed him, you get out. Yes, but you're likely just gonna feed him. I think that's the case, right?

Cristina: I think so. I don't know. There seems like something's off. Something's off. Yeah, for sure.

Jack: Okay, I'm going to tell you about the non accepted narrative by looking at.

Cristina: Oh wait, I just got or just remember something. How do people know all his descriptions? Was there a winner because of that?

Jack: Fascinating point.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Oh, fascinating point.

Cristina: Or are there guards? Other guards? No, I don't think so.

Jack: Nobody goes in. Nobody goes in.

Cristina: Yeah. Yeah.

Jack: So that's a great question. Good question. Now I'm gonna give you the correction of these stories from many different sources that aren't the accepted narrative.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: These are mentions in other areas about this. Now, there's an individual called Apollodorus of Athens, and he is one of the authors. He's the literal primary author of the accepted narrative first. So all of the above details came from that individual. Okay, that's from Apollodorus of Athens. So I'm gonna go to a guy named Virgil. Really? His whole name is Publius Virgilius Maro, and the writing is called Virgil's Anaid. This is the text in which he mentions the Minotaur. And he says. Now he only mentions it in passing, by the way. So he chooses to focus on what he deemed more important, which was the labyrinth and its construction. Interesting details he gives us. He claims labyrinth was constructed by Daedalus, which is an individual of note in Greek mythology. Originally learned of the labyrinth during a visit to the temple of Apollo at Kume, where he sees a depiction of the labyrinth on the doors of the temple. Somebody had the maze's layout on their door engraved. On a temple's door engraved. Interesting things happening already. Now we're getting to texts we're more familiar with. Temples and mazes checks out. Okay. The labyrinth is described as inextricable maze with bewildering windings. Checks out to be a maze, very maze like. Descriptions of a maze also described as baffling and confusing. Now a maze whines and takes you to dead ends. For it to be baffling and confusing is hinting towards incoherent nature of it, which would suggest they go on one side, pop out of the other.

Cristina: Okay, yeah.

Jack: Why are you getting baffled and like, how the h*** did I do?

Cristina: Or if it's like that house where like the doors, the stairs lead to nowhere.

Jack: Yes, it could totally.

Cristina: Or the door leads to nowhere or whatever the case.

Jack: Interesting enough, what we know about that house is that this lady built it. Most likely not for that side, but when she died to go to the other side to have a house to roam. She was also the most prominent phantom there.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: And she was also one of the only seeming non echoes there. Interesting. And now this place is also confusing. When you were asking where the Minotaur was located in that image. That was just probably a corridor of this maze. This means the Minotaur is described as being at the very center of the maze, coming outward to Hunt. Checks out, except for one problem with the logic. You must be starting at one end. The exit must be at the opposite end. And he starts between the two points. See? Only way it would make sense. There's no way you're trying to get to the middle. No, you gotta get out.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So he's starting halfway between those two points, and he's gonna try to find you, and you're gonna try to avoid it.

Cristina: That's tough.

Jack: On your way to the door.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: As it seems, these are the only mentions we get from Publius Virgilius Maro. So we go then to a different individual that has another quick passing mention. Aristotle's notes in his library.

Cristina: Oh, my gosh. Okay.

Jack: In his notes, he briefly mentions the Minotaur and refers to him by name as Asterius. Now, you look up Asterias and you'll find variations of this name. Asterias and Asterion. Great. But he gave him a name. That's pretty sweet. Gives us another place to start with. Okay. Anyhow, there's one more writer of prominence that matters here. His name is Euripides. Euripides. So Euripides writings say. Which is a collection. So in his collection of writings, the Minotaur is a result of. Now, this is where it gets weird. This guy is way more obscure, way harder to find, and surprisingly, the guy who has completely different terminology. The Minotaur is a result of a progressive advancement in alchemy.

Cristina: What.

Jack: AKA the sciences of that time.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: Claims that Queen Pasiphy was the subject of this alchemic procedure.

Cristina: That makes more sense.

Jack: That makes way more sense and is way more along the lines that we would agree with.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: The second subject was a babylos. A Babylon is a half bison, half bull.

Cristina: Oh.

Jack: Chimera.

Cristina: Okay, so that plus her equals this thing Pretty much.

Jack: Interesting.

Cristina: We took an experiment and then combined it with her. Made her experiment.

Jack: You didn't combine her. You used her DNA.

Cristina: Yeah. Yeah.

Jack: Because it was a child. We know the union quote resulted in this. So it's a child of sorts. Some sort of assembly or some. Test tube baby.

Cristina: Test tube baby for sure.

Jack: Right. Some weird. And now we're in the territories we've heard about before. Weird experiments.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: How interesting. Weird experiments that Poseidon was running.

Cristina: Yeah. Makes sense.

Jack: Interesting. Right. Now, it specifically says Chimera, created by Poseidon. By the way. An alchemic process resulted in the two creatures referred to as brothers.

Cristina: What?

Jack: Yes. Now let's take a look again so that you could be quite blown away by what we're looking at. It resulted in two creatures which referred to as brothers.

Cristina: Now you're saying those two things are two different creatures, not one creature being described two different ways.

Jack: These are two different individuals.

Cristina: Okay. Which is the human version? I guess they are both.

Jack: They're twins.

Cristina: They're twins. Okay. And they both came from this lady.

Jack: They're both from the same woman. And the same father. The same mother. Same father, yes.

Cristina: So one of them, though, looks more like a human. A human. And the other one looks more like the father.

Jack: Yes.

Cristina: Half bison. Half. What was it?

Jack: Half bison, half bull.

Cristina: Bull, yeah.

Jack: Interesting, right?

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So this seems to have been lost in mythology. People have mentioned it, but the main narrative, over repeated durations, sort of fused them into one individual. Go back to Aristotle's notes. And he gave us two names.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: Yeah. See?

Cristina: Oh, this lady was experimented on.

Jack: Yeah. The two names again being Asterius and Asterion. Asterias is the traditional Minotaur we are familiar with. And then Asterion is the quadruped.

Cristina: Quadruped walks on four legs. Oh, okay.

Jack: The more animalistic one.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Weird, right?

Cristina: Yes, Very strange.

Jack: Additionally, Euripides gives us a nice little detail that is so hard to find outside of his writing that it is baffling. And I've never heard it before until I saw the word. First I saw the word in Greek, and then I had to translate the word from Greek. So the alchemic process resulted in the two creatures referred to as brothers, which are Asterias and Asterion. Asterias, the Minotaur, is brother to Asterion, the Toro Boban. Those two individuals describe their different physical structures. The Minotaur, very human, like the Toroboban, very animalistic. Both twin siblings.

Cristina: Where is the Toro Boban being kept?

Jack: I just told you that the narrative got fused and turned them into one.

Cristina: Yes, but. So in. But then they're both living in the maze.

Jack: Yes. Okay, so the claims by Euripides go. The Minotaur would result reside in the very center of the maze, protecting what he referred to as the entrance. At the center of the maze is the entrance, not where the person you throw in there to die goes in through just something he referred to as the entrance.

Cristina: Okay. Which could be his entrance into the maze, maybe. No, but then he can't go in.

Jack: And out, so he can't go in and out.

Cristina: It's very strange to call it the entrance or not strange if it's not really an entrance in the way. We're thinking, like, if it's more like a portal.

Jack: Like that.

Cristina: Yes, like the house.

Jack: The entrance at the house was just what looked like a seance room, as referred to like a sandro. Yeah, but it was just an entrance.

Cristina: Entrance, but it wasn't. It was just a room.

Jack: No, it was an entrance, but I guess it was literally an entrance, just not for us. Yes, but it was an entrance. This is not an incorrect terminology. You're not. Don't discredit the word entrance. It is an entrance. He's not wrong. He didn't write it. And you're over here correcting him. No, that is the right word. It's an entrance.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: We just got a question. What kind of an entrance? And we have an example of an entrance at the center of literally a maze.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Very similar scenario. The Minotaur, what we're familiar with, is at the center of the maze. It's weird that the Toro Boban isn't the one at the center of the maze and that people never see the entrance. So we don't know about the Tora Boban. People have made it to the entrance because they see the Minotaur. It's easier, it seems, to evade the Toro Boban.

Cristina: But he's the one probably eating them.

Jack: The Toro boban.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Yeah, he's definitely the one killing them out there.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: And then anybody who makes it all the way to the Minotaur, you then have a fight in your hands that you're probably not gonna win. And he's about to eat too.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Interesting.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: These two creatures got fused into one and lost a history. Never before have I seen this. The Toro Boban would roam the maze. Hunting the prey is the very next line.

Cristina: Yeah, that sounds like what we thought. Yep. Yep.

Jack: Although that's been attributed to the Minotaur. That is incorrect. The animalistic one is the one roaming those halls, those corridors, while the one most man like stands dead center, waiting casually.

Cristina: Yeah, but even if you make it to that entrance, quote unquote, you're not really getting out. Even if you can pass him, because that's not the actual way.

Jack: No. They're not protecting an exit.

Cristina: No.

Jack: You're meant to die there.

Cristina: Yes. If you made it there, you go the wrong way.

Jack: Yeah, exactly. There's probably a way out. It's just not that way. And that is a way in for something else. Yeah, you're not going to that side. If you can't, I won't let you. I'm only here to let them in, not you out.

Cristina: I mean, maybe you can come back in that way after he's done with you.

Jack: Now, based on the pattern we're looking at, there's some things we could question here. If that is an entrance, that means that there is another exit. Because the entrance is where the Minotaur is. The exit must be elsewhere. The exit to the maze must be elsewhere because the Minotaur is blocking the entrance.

Cristina: Yes. Yeah.

Jack: That is the entrance, not the exit. It's specifically labeled as the entrance. And we know what kind of interest they're referring to. Yes, because we have another example of it. But how do we know more about the Minotaur than we do about the Torah Boban? The people telling the story were never human. They must have originated the narrative. It's Jinn or something coming through. And they're most likely to see the Minotaur on the way in.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: Then the Toro Boban roaming the halls. They would never come across. He's at the door. He's the first thing you see when you come through the Minotaur.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: There's no reason you would see the Torah Boban unless you stumbled into him writing these stories.

Cristina: Are community communicating with ghost. Question.

Jack: Not ghost with Jin.

Cristina: Yeah, but it's like the same to those people.

Jack: Not if they came through.

Cristina: Like they have physical bodies when they come through.

Jack: Like all of the Djinn that come through, you see? So whatever's coming through that becomes physical. Just like the Jinn that interact in all these other groups, it's a physical thing. Those individuals then come in contact with perhaps the individuals telling these stories.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: And inform them about what they saw. And 99 times out of a hundred, the only thing you saw there was Minotaur.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Because the other one is roaming the halls.

Cristina: Yes. To kill humans, not to kill.

Jack: To kill the punished.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Interesting.

Cristina: So they're not hunting Djinns or. None. They're just interested in the humans.

Jack: Yes. They're being fed to do their job. Interesting. Two outcast brothers put in this maze, and they're gonna be fed. It's not really outcast if they're kind of down with it and performing almost a duty. It becomes almost like they were made for this purpose because the maze was made for this purpose. And then your only thing was to put them there. These are op. You could use these for a lot of things, but you put them in the maze and have one Roaming the halls. And the other one guarding, quote, the entrance, unquote.

Cristina: Yes. Like this. This was gonna happen whether that lady was involved or not.

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: Somebody's being punished.

Jack: But, like, I don't think so. I think that's bullshit story.

Cristina: Oh, you think that part is?

Jack: I think that. Yeah, I think that's all fake narrative.

Cristina: Oh, okay. Yeah, Yeah.

Jack: I think it was just ways to explain it by people who didn't know what was going on.

Cristina: Yeah, like the other story with the.

Jack: Yes.

Cristina: Queen that turned into Snake.

Jack: Yeah, exactly. It's just, you know, warped stories, People trying to comprehend crap. So the Toro Boban is something lost to history, something lost in text. Now, it's mentioned in passing and here and there, casually, very hard to find. But if you look hard enough, it shows up. The Toro Boban called Asterion, and the Minotaur called Asterias, they were named to begin with. Their names were also lost. It's very hard to find their names.

Cristina: Their names are very similar to each other.

Jack: Yes. So things to note about this. We've come across mazes, as we know, and they kind of resemble the scenario.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: And even if there's no particular maze structure in Clinton Road other than. And it's not even a maze, more than just some weird private area with entrance and exits that we're unfamiliar with, that's not maze. Like, there's probably a straight shot there. We just don't know how to get there. But the. The underground and the whole setup on top where you could, like, literally walk down this way and then pop up over there. But there is a town there that's like a maze, which is Paradise.

Cristina: Oh.

Jack: And you go into paradise and the roads start changing on you and the exits start changing on you. Interesting. There's a maze there too. Sort of.

Cristina: Sort of. Yeah.

Jack: New modern age maze. But we go way far back. There's literally a labyrinth. We go in the middle between these two points, we have a house that's weird and confusing. And we jump a little more further up and we have a town that's equally confusing. So it's the same layout. Presumably at the center of paradise, there must be what? A gate in the center of Paradise. Two different instances are hinting towards the third one.

Cristina: Have you looked up stories about Paradise?

Jack: That is the next goal for sure. Because now we have a point of reference.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: Now we have a way to look at it other than it's a town. What stories do people know about the town? Like, people don't know things. No, we need reference.

Cristina: Yes. Okay.

Jack: And now we have perspective, we can start looking. Is there anything weird that's ever happened at the center of paradise? Has anybody seen anything like this or that?

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: In paradise?

Cristina: Probably. Then we call it the Jersey Devil. Who knows?

Jack: Yes. Any possibility? Yes, exactly. Something is at the center of paradise. Maybe we were looking in the wrong locations. And where we should have been looking all along was the maze. Paradise. This is my point. We have no idea how to. The place is too big. There's too much crap there. Perspective.

Cristina: Too much going on.

Jack: Too much perspective is so important. We have to get informed elsewhere and then come back. There's some unrelated nonsense. Since it totally turned out related.

Cristina: Yes. Was that your goal?

Jack: No, no. I'm just getting information from any. Again, anything that relates to any of the groups or any of the things could hint.

Cristina: Okay, so something reminds you of this and then you went on this hunt.

Jack: Yeah. No. Not reminded me of this per se, but I'm just looking at things and creatures and I stumble upon the thing and you know, chase random threads and see where they go. If nothing, go over there. I tell you, the ones that do connect, there's a bunch of crap that doesn't. If it's interesting enough, I don't care. If it doesn't, I'll tell you anyways.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: But amazing. I think there's something at the center of paradise.

Cristina: Yes. And we gotta find it. Yep.

Jack: If anything, it has to be some sort of a portal because we're two for two.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: The distinct role of the brothers and how the more humanoid of the two would stay at the entrance is of note. That's definitely a welcome party. Not just blocking somebody from the maze, getting to the door and going through some private location you shouldn't be heading to. Like the hidden gate at the seance room. It's almost like you're trying to prevent people going through to the other side. You just want things to come through onto this side.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: And putting the more human of the two there instead of having the more human of the two walking the halls, you're. It's a welcome party. You have somebody who could, like, I can guide you to where you need to go.

Cristina: Yes, Guide them. Yes.

Jack: Instead of a freaking half monstrous bull looking thing that you're like. That looks like the kinds of crap we kill on my end.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: You know, you want something humanoid and like, oh, yeah, I'm here to point.

Cristina: The way or something. Yes.

Jack: Then again, I'm sure he's the welcome party and kind of sets you up for My brother is going to guide you. He's my brother. You're safe. Instead of the brother, be the one who show up. The Toro Boban. You're like, oh, my God, Did I go through the wrong door? Okay, so have the humanoid one speak to you and be looking like a human. And then the Toro Boban that roams the halls would escort you to the actual door that it's familiar with. How to get to.

Cristina: I don't know. I think they avoid him completely because there is no stories of the other guy because the other guy's just murdering.

Jack: Fair enough. Right? They would have mentioned them, too. Yes. You're totally right. They're not seeing him at all. Meaning the. The Minotaur actually leaves its post.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: Because at the end of the day, nobody's getting that far.

Cristina: No.

Jack: And one trip isn't gonna suddenly allow the person to just get to the door.

Cristina: Yep. The only one anyone sees is the Minnow Tower.

Jack: And anybody who maybe the Torah Boban is kind of like my bro, you know, My brother's kind of off edge, so you stay with me. I'll tell him you're good, and we'll go to the door, and you can exit. But if you come across my brother.

Cristina: Without me, maybe that's why he's so buff, in case he has to fight off the brother. Although they never mention it.

Jack: They don't mention it? No.

Cristina: They work together according to the avoiding or. Yeah. They just stay away from each other. Okay.

Jack: It could be that they stay away from each other, but, I mean, I guess it could be. There's no mention they do. Well, no. They both eat, and they both stop anything from getting to that door.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So they're sharing.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: So I'm assuming they're still cool with each other. Maybe the Toro Bowman is just way more aggressive, and he's like, keep all that other away from me. I don't want to. I don't want any part of this.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: While the. The Minotaurs is, you know, more humanoid. I'm more accepted. He is definitely way more rejected than I am.

Cristina: Yes. But he's not a social creature, either, at least in the descriptions I think you gave of him.

Jack: Yeah. Isolated. Both of them are.

Cristina: Yeah. So he's just doing his job. I think it's not to socialize or anything.

Jack: Just like in both of their cases, they're just doing their jobs. Yeah. It just so happens to be that one is at the door and probably the escort to the exit.

Cristina: Yeah. That's it.

Jack: Follow me. And I'LL get you out at the end. Interesting, right? Very. Again, so much of this lost to repeat iteration. Yeah, it just gets lost in translation. The area referred to as the entrance being the center of the labyrinth, opposed to being the entrance being on the outer edges, is very informative. That's definitely a way in from somewhere else. And we have examples which heavily enlightened that this is existing at the center of paradise, at least. Most likely.

Cristina: Most likely.

Jack: Even if not, it seems most likely the experimentation that Poseidon performed as to result in the Babylons to begin with. So he was already creating weird things, made this chimera and then use this chimera to make a double chimera.

Cristina: Yeah, to make a few more, you.

Jack: Know, chimera twice removed. I made that thing and I'm gonna use that thing to make something else. Merge this cool other thing with a human.

Cristina: Which he probably has other experiments too.

Jack: Yes. Based on this, there must be a plethora of experiments that are hard to find that Poseidon has performed. Weird.

Cristina: That's very weird because, like, the. The unicorns aren't theirs. Not the unicorns. The. Yeah, the unicorns aren't theirs. And they thought that was weird about the unicorns. But, like, there's creatures in Greek that would remind you of the unicorns. Like, you would think those are animals from there.

Jack: Well, I have a reason why they would think it's weird. The Minotaur and the toro boban don't seem to have weird supernatural powers.

Cristina: Okay. Yes. Because the unicorn could fly.

Jack: The unicorn can just levitate and they're like, how the h*** did you do that?

Cristina: Yeah. Because if they do have unicorns from there as well, they wouldn't be. They would hover. They would just. They would be more horse like.

Jack: Yes. They would have other things going on. The best they keep in mind. Keep in mind that they have no version of this. Their imitation of a unicorn is a Pegasus. It's still not powers. It's a physical thing. You gave it wings so it could fly. Yeah, because theirs doesn't have wings and can just take off into the sky. And you still have no idea.

Cristina: No.

Jack: So we're looking at the Greek can make chimera. But the Alicians don't need to waste their time merging two animals. They could just take a random animal and jacket.

Cristina: Don't know what they did. Don't know how it's possible.

Jack: But also, we do know how it's possible because the Greek have no idea how the h*** the stones were being made. They were referring them they were just referencing always different, different versions of adrenochrome. They're drowning in that.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: While the Elysians figured out the stone that they could just use to make the unicorn.

Cristina: Okay. Yeah.

Jack: Logic. There's. Their methods are so different, and they can result in kind of sort of the same things.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: But through vastly different methods. These are two very, extremely different sciences taking place. Interesting, because we have a third completely different science in modern day.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: So we're looking at. The Greek had one version of science that does not reflect anything the Elicians did or anything we've ever done. Then the Elysians have some form of science that doesn't reflect anything we've ever done or anything the Greek have ever done. And we have a version of science that doesn't reflect anything the Greek ever did or anything the Alicians ever did.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Science is not one way.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: There are roads to take, and some people find other ways. And this is a great example of the building stones we know about. The Elysians never consumed adrenochrome, as far as we can tell. But avoiding that killed quite a lot of people.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: While the Greek didn't have to kill mass people. They would just have to continuously, you know, kill one here, kill one there to consume the adrenochrome. But they have to remain hooked up.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: So in order to not be hooked, you got to take a lot of life.

Cristina: That's tricky. There's life. Either way, you're losing life, no matter.

Jack: Losing life no matter what. Interesting. Interesting. Two vastly different sciences. And it makes total logic how you got the stone, and the stone breaks the laws of nature, so a unicorn becomes possible. You over here aren't breaking the laws of nature. You have no idea how the h*** they did that. So you're just altering your physical makeup through literal chemicals. And so in the same kind of way, you could do that. Something else.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Alter the physical makeup at birth and then you got some other thing. Totally different sciences, totally different products. It's awesome that they line up in logical kind of ways, but. Yeah, it's weird. Weird. The unicorn thing versus the Pegasus thing. The different sciences, the methods they took to get there. Fascinating man. Poseidon. Creating chimeras is weird. It's a hat that's not mentioned more. But again, we're talking about real obscure lost information.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: And it's just fascinating that he. He kind of. We haven't heard of experiments on experiments.

Cristina: Yeah, I guess.

Jack: Yeah. But it would make sense if you can't just do it the first time with a stone. You have to won't A plus B equals C. Then I use C plus D, so on and so forth. Because it's literal, more practical. As opposed to just breaking laws of physics and nature. And as a result of all of this crap, the Tora Bobon gets lost to history and fused in literature to the Minotaur. Ultimately making it look like they've been one all along when they weren't. There's a weird turn.

Cristina: There's gotta be more creatures.

Jack: More double triple, quadruple experiments going on.

Cristina: Yeah. Just like the they when they made the Nagas. They made a bunch of Naga variations of them.

Jack: Trying to get to. But we didn't see see Keto experiment on an existing Naga.

Cristina: No.

Jack: Or an existing Grogan, which isn't a Naga. Just trying to. But he didn't succeed in making it to the way that he would call a Naga. So he made Medusa. And then like this is weak. He didn't work on Medusa's DNA again. He started again from scratch.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: While Poseidon is leveled up, bro. He understood. Nah, just work on the thing already. Use that.

Cristina: I like what I made, but I want to get. Yeah, yeah.

Jack: I want to make it better. So I'm not going to start from scratch. I'm improve on the model.

Cristina: Fascinating scientist.

Jack: It seems he would be. But he is amongst the group. And here is just a different visual of the exact same duo. Looking a little more, you know, casual next to each other. No longer in the same image, but a more accurate depiction of what you'd look at.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: Still with the red eyes.

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: Pretty horrifying.

Jack: Both quite aggressive and menacing looking. Those features kind of line up ultimately. But yeah, when you look at it, it really is just a.

Cristina: They look like they're related.

Jack: They totally do. They totally do. Yeah.

Cristina: Yeah. You could think that was there. It's werewolf version if that was a thing.

Jack: Yep. But you end up with this result of like these two born at the same time. Twin brothers. Both isolated individuals. Highly aggressive, ginormous, 7 to 10ft tall individuals. But looking at this creature has informed us on Paradise Road that leads to the town of Paradise. Yes. Now this random thing aimed because the maze was what mattered here. Yeah. We learned about a cool other experiment. Dope. Pretty awesome that we found some kind of real hidden knowledge. But all of this was just entertainment purposes. Because the knowledge we should all be taking from here is another maze with another gate at the center.

Cristina: Has to be.

Jack: And we have a third maze that we've never looked at because we thought it was just, you know, the jumbled nature of the shadow realm. But that doesn't make sense. The veil wouldn't be so thin there. That's a place meant to channel an entrance.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: We just gotta find the entrance. Which would be harder to find the closer to the center you get.

Cristina: Presumably, for sure, because it would be.

Jack: More, I don't know, more jumbled, harder to get the closer you get. You take a wrong turn, you might find your way all the way to the beginning again.

Cristina: Yeah. Yes. I think we found something. Or we're gonna find something. I think we're gonna find something.

Jack: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Interesting. Anyways, that's what I have, the Minotaur, which is not one individual, but rather the Minotaur and the Toro Boban both got crushed into one word, Minotaur. But Minotaur is only one individual. Asterias, the bipedal, one of the two.

Cristina: The other one being the quadrip.

Jack: Asterion. Asterias is the Mena, the minotaur, and Asterion is the quadruped.

Cristina: Okay, beautiful.

Cristina: It's not. It's just like we're losing listeners eventually when they. When they die. We would have.

Jack: They. It's a trade off. They. The one.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: Let's say they tell five people, then we lose one. We made four listeners in the exchange. It's ever growing, so we have to.

Cristina: But why do we have to give them cancer, though?

Jack: Like, we're not giving them cancer. They're getting cancer. There's a difference. I'm not. Like, I'm gonna give you cancer. Like, it's just an unfortunate side effect of listening to the show.

Cristina: Okay, so it doesn't. It's not our fault.

Jack: It's not our fault whatsoever. Yes, it's our fault, but not our intention.

Cristina: But we need them to listen.

Jack: Yeah, we need them to listen because then they can get us more listeners. And as such goes the domino effect.

Cristina: But why do we have to force them to get more listeners?

Jack: We're not Forcing them to get more listeners. We're making them force other people to get more listeners. They have an option to let their children be in danger. I'm not like forcing them to do anything.

Cristina: I guess it's. It's so wrong.

Jack: What, that I'm threatening their families? Yeah, it's totally fine, man.

Cristina: Why?

Jack: How many of them have not listened? And how many children have I harmed? None. They always listen.

Cristina: They always.

Jack: They always listen.

Cristina: This plan always works.

Jack: Always works. 100%, 100% of the time. It's a flawless plan. It's never once planned.

Cristina: But now that you share that news, someone's going to be like, maybe he doesn't kill these people's children. So I'm just gonna.

Jack: Well, no one. That's not. Because everybody's done it. There's no reason for me to kill anybody's child.

Cristina: Yeah, but the person listening doesn't understand that they.

Jack: Why don't they understand? You're assuming our listeners are stupid now.

Cristina: No, just this one listener who's like, I'm just gonna see.

Jack: So they're gonna put their child in danger just to test the waters?

Cristina: Yes. They're the gambling type of person. They're addicted to gambling.

Jack: And they're like, this is the ultimate gamble. I gotta see if I' ma win this one.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Interesting. Interesting. I bet there's people who gamble like that.

Cristina: Whoa. That's pretty risky. But I guess. Well then we'll find out if you mean it or not.

Jack: I do. I do mean it. I will do whatever to get listeners.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: I will go the extra mile.

Cristina: Would you cure the cancer that they're getting?

Jack: I'll do almost anything for listeners.

Cristina: Cuz that's something we could work on, I guess.

Jack: I mean, we have the resources. We have nothing but subhuman power and scientists. We got the freemasons lab.

Cristina: So we got.

Jack: We. We literally have hyper technologically advanced reptilians in imprisoned. And we have cats with magic powers.

Cristina: Magic to cure the cancer.

Jack: We could literally cure the cancer with magic.

Cristina: Why don't we?

Jack: Because then they'd be less committed with the cancer they're all in. They're already. They've already got the cancer. They might as well continue listening. Continue listening and getting other people to listen, lest it be in vain.

Cristina: I guess.

Jack: So like in theory we could just like hey, cat people, tell us how to cure cancer and then we would. But like, it's not helping us to cure cancer. I'd be going particularly out of my way to a different planet.

Cristina: We have Them on a different planet. Mars. Yeah. Okay.

Jack: On Mars from Universe 2.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: We haven't gone back there. I have no idea if that worked out, you know, over there. Yeah, that's done. Planet X destroyed that, right?

Cristina: Yeah, d***. Pretty sure. No, wait, no, we destroyed that.

Jack: We took their Mars.

Cristina: Yeah. We didn't destroy by taking, by stopping planet. I mean the planet X thing that was over here now over there.

Jack: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we solved ours by taking theirs because we blew up our own Mars to stop the cockroach people.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So kind of problematic over there. We're fine using our nifty technology to save our. We saved our solar system by destroying a different one.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: And for sure we might have been the cause of what was gonna destroy our system in the first place, but we, we saved it and that's the important part.

Cristina: Did we have anything to do with that?

Jack: We destroyed. Well, I destroyed original Mars because. Ah, cockroaches.

Cristina: Yes, that happened.

Jack: Which is ironic because I ended up marrying one anyways.

Cristina: Yes, well, you're married now.

Jack: Okay, I've been married. You had that same reaction before.

Cristina: Really?

Jack: Yes, exactly the same way.

Cristina: I thought you were just dating. I don't know.

Jack: Was I just dating? No, I think I'm married to. I think I've been married for a while.

Cristina: Okay, then. How many children do you have? Aren't like roaches? Don't they have many children?

Jack: And she's like a good 12ft tall, so it's like weird.

Cristina: So how many children are there? Does she have no children? It doesn't. That part doesn't work.

Jack: No kids? We. It's impossible for us to breed together.

Cristina: Okay, but if she was a breeding cockroach, how many children would she have?

Jack: I don't know. Many.

Cristina: Many, many, many. It is like that. Like with real roaches or is that not right? Is it just bunnies?

Jack: That I have no idea. Maybe.

Cristina: I feel like it's a bunch.

Jack: Like roaches just have a f*** ton. Yeah, I feel like that's wrong.

Jack: I think so. I think so. Because think about it, when you see a roach, there aren't like a f*** ton of roaches around there. Usually that only happens when there's something particularly disgusting going on that they start kind of collecting in an area. But when you see one roach, you kind of just see one roach. There isn't like a lot of roaches which goes like. If you see spider, you'll usually see multiple spiders in the same area. There's a spider over here, there's another web over there. There's a spider over there. But like a roach. You'll see one roach in a roam. A whole house and then. Okay, it's gone.

Jack: That's interesting. Right?

Cristina: I don't know. I think it's still.

Jack: They have a bunch and they just like, hide. Like there's one scout.

Cristina: There's this one scout. Yeah. Once you kill him, they know. They know.

Jack: And send the other one out. Yeah, you can go now. You've been promoted because he has died.

Cristina: Yeah. Like in a year from now, you'll be there.

Jack: Interesting. Interesting. And there's a bunch of cockroach people still out there. We destroyed your planet, but they were already exploring space.

Cristina: Oh, crap.

Jack: So there's a bunch of roaches out there. Probably.

Cristina: Oh, my gosh.

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: Don't get in trouble.

Jack: I mean, they're good. They don't know what happened. They're just. I mean, when they get back home, they're just gonna see us having imprisoned.

Cristina: Exactly.

Jack: Be like these guys. This ain't even ours.

Cristina: Maybe they'll be scared of us, though. Like they won't start a war with.

Jack: Us because they're like, these people destroy all our people and imprison all these other creatures.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Cuz we got. Do we got stuff up there.

Cristina: We got werewolves, we got sea monsters.

Jack: We got sea monsters. We got f******. We got so much s***.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So we got resources for days. On top of the fact that we have somewhere down here on Earth, our quantum computer that can do anything and simulate anything. We have a time machine that can take us not just forward, but back. And in your backyard, there is still a portal that we have completely ignored because we have no idea what to do with that.

Cristina: No. We could send some of these roaches in there or something.

Jack: We need to capture some of these roaches. And I'm not sending my wife in there.

Cristina: No.

Jack: Best bet. Send the reptilian in there. We have all of them enslaved.

Cristina: I feel like the right thing to do is to send a clone. No, not a clone.

Jack: A subhuman.

Cristina: A subhuman.

Jack: Fair enough. Fair enough. So the right thing, Keep the Reptilians. We don't know what they might be useful for.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: But the Chinese pump out sub humans like there's no tomorrow. So we could just send one of them through.

Cristina: Yep.

Jack: Fair enough. I like that plan. And they'll do it without a fight. The reptilian might be like, no, I don't want to. And then it'll be all sad and annoying.

Jack: But the subhuman Will be like, yeah, yeah, this is my job. It's my job. They wouldn't even talk. They'll just nod and walk straight through, just mad, obedient.

Jack: Well, we know nothing happens because Ish jumped straight through and didn't die.

Jack: Yeah, he just jumped straight through. You think he died?

Cristina: I don't remember. I feel like there was, like, so many different versions of him jumping in.

Jack: And dying because he also. Yeah, no, there was already. No, it's livable. At least there was already a version over there he tried to kill. It was a mess.

Cristina: There was a version of. But that was before. Was that before or after? Okay.

Jack: I don't know. I know Ish. Some version of Ish lived through the portal.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: That's a fact. We didn't get to explore too long because he was too impulsive. Jumped in and came back and was like, ha. But, like, we know a subhuman won't die just by going through.

Cristina: Yes, okay.

Jack: They might die going farther, but that's a risk I'm willing to take.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: And they can come back with information if they don't die.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: And if they do die, we'll send two just in case. Between two of them, they can handle whatever killed them.

Cristina: Really? But we wouldn't know. Unless. You think we could just videotape the other side or something?

Jack: Yes, that'd be great.

Cristina: That would be. And then. And then I don't know what we do.

Jack: I don't know. Because we can't move it. It's not like a physical thing we could just grab and walk with. It's just there. Touching it is the other side.

Cristina: What do we do with it then? Man, it feels like we should do something with it, though. It's pretty epic.

Jack: Build an entire thing around the portal and charge people to go in.

Cristina: We could do that. That sounds very like our zombie island thing.

Jack: Yes.

Cristina: That was successful.

Jack: Holy s***. I forgot we had zombie island, which was really successful, but nobody left that island after they got there.

Cristina: Yes. And then we turned it into a toilet paper castle thing.

Jack: Yeah. Where the zombies were kind of protecting us from the virus.

Cristina: Yeah. You forgot about that.

Jack: I forgot about that. We own so many things. The lore of this podcast has gotten.

Cristina: So out of hand because we stole the island from. I think we stole it from you. Or from Dana White. I can't remember.

Jack: Oh, my God. Is this Fight Island?

Cristina: Yeah, I think it was Fight Island.

Jack: I think we stole it. I think we just like built our s*** on his island and then the zombies kind of offed everything that was left. I don't remember how this played out, but yeah, we got Zombie island. I'm pretty sure it was Fight Island.

Jack: But then we made a toilet paper castle in the survive. Because the toilet paper, you know, it defends against the. The virus.

Cristina: Yeah, I feel that's right. Yeah.

Jack: This is basically recap episode. Trying to piece together the narrative of our show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because we've done a couple of things, in fact, using the time machine. I remember I went forward in time and saw a version of me that was doing things terrible.

Cristina: Did you?

Jack: Yeah. Like sending people into the future in a touristy kind of way? Yes, the same, I guess the same way that I would be doing with the portal in the first place.

Cristina: Yeah. You think you were making money off of it? No. You were trying to stop the end of the world.

Jack: The cat people who were taking over. That's how we started chasing them to find them in the great Void.

Cristina: Yes. We only found them because there was a version of you who knew about them and was trying to change how much people. I don't know. What was his goal.

Jack: Also, we solved a problem. And I didn't think about this. We can jump anywhere in space now because we know how the pyramids work.

Cristina: Oh, yeah.

Jack: And the cat people in Lake Loch Ness that were being protected by Nessie told us that their people are in the great Void.

Cristina: Oh, yes, we know. We don't know what's in there. But I guess now we know. Now we know we can't actually go in there.

Jack: Except we can, because we can use the pyramids to teleport us straight to the crate void in one clean shot. Just be there one second later. And we know they know the coordinates.

Cristina: Oh, my gosh. So then that has to be another adventure.

Jack: I guess we can actually go kill the cat gods.

Cristina: Why? Why?

Jack: Or capture them, interrogate them for God like things. I don't know. Point is, we can go solve our cat problem.

Cristina: I don't even know if we have a cat problem. I don't know how you're.

Jack: Originally. Originally something resulted in cat people taking over the world.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: And what I did was continuously send humans to different points in time from the future of after humanity started declining to counteract the growth of cat people.

Cristina: Yes. With humans. To have sex with humans. Yes.

Jack: Multiply and then overthrow the cat people before they became too strong. Okay, so I stopped the future from being about cat people. I did that. That was me.

Cristina: A version of you.

Jack: A version of me who's dead now or hiding.

Cristina: Hiding.

Jack: I think that one's hiding.

Cristina: Yeah, I think so.

Jack: Also, there were a lot of clones. I'm not even the original person hosting this show. No, neither are you.

Cristina: No, but I think there's way more versions of you out there than there are of me.

Jack: I think they're about the same.

Cristina: Really?

Jack: Yeah, I think they're about the same. I just think the one that was gonna be killed of me ran away. Fair enough. There's one more. There's two of me. There's one of you. Yeah, because one version of me also came back. That same one that is hiding came back to kill Jemaine.

Cristina: Yeah. No, I don't think that was the same you. That's a different you.

Jack: That was a different me.

Cristina: There's three of me that slow you that thought the clone of a clone. Clone of a clone tried to kill.

Jack: You, but couldn't tell the difference between me and Jemaine, who clearly look very different.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: And that clone was a one armed. What was the story with that?

Cristina: He's got one arm robot.

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: Yeah. And we saw him on a billboard.

Jack: We f****** saw this guy in the real world. That's crazy. That's crazy. We just saw him outside.

Cristina: Yep. So he's doing something. He's got a modeling career? I guess so.

Jack: Yeah. That's crazy. Yo, man, man, the retarded clone f***** that up.

Cristina: Why?

Jack: Because wasn't he supposed to kill that guy who was trying to kill who turned. That's the reason that Jermaine was a ghost in the first place.

Cristina: Because he was trying to kill you?

Jack: No, Jermaine was a ghost the whole time. And he was killed by the guy with one arm and one eye, which my clone was supposed to kill but couldn't tell the difference between me and the guy with one arm and one eye, Right?

Cristina: No, the clone is the guy with one arm and one eye.

Jack: Holy crap. What happened to him?

Cristina: I don't know.

Jack: Did we not get to the bottom? We never got to the bottom of what happened to my clone.

Cristina: How? Jermaine remembers the killer that killed him. Yeah, the guy had one arm and.

Jack: One eye, which was just my clone.

Cristina: Your clone? Yes. Who thought he was killing you, but he killed Jermaine.

Jack: And then Jermaine became a ghost?

Cristina: Yes. How he happened. How this happened to him, I don't know, maybe it was part of the copy copy process. Messed him up like such a s*****.

Jack: Copy that he had one arm less and one eyeless. And so he got a robot arm. He got a robot arm. I don't understand. I don't understand what happened. But he ended up modeling, which helped out, which is typical. Models are stupid, on average.

Cristina: Oh, and he's probably not trying to kill you anymore. He probably thinks he did the right thing.

Jack: He's too dumb to realize he did something wrong, but. So there are three clones. There's that r***** out there, and there's the one who's hiding, who was supposed to be dead, who was running this before me but didn't get killed, who I believe Jermaine was supposed to kill.

Cristina: What?

Jack: Something like that. He was original living. Jermaine was here to kill somebody.

Cristina: Really?

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: I don't remember that. Okay.

Jack: There's some. Something's happening there. I don't remember that too clearly.

Cristina: Mm. He might have been.

Jack: We simulated a lot of things using the quantum computer.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: Trying to simulate consciousness, trying to tell if consciousness affects movement or not. Just running real pressing issue experiments. It's really interesting. I think that's the only thing we've used without just total recklessness.

Cristina: No, and. Wait, the whole two people. We had two people to see the whole test with the. With the ship, with Baan people. That was in the quantum computer.

Jack: I have no idea what you're talking about. There was lack of description and all of that.

Cristina: The thing about the ship where if you remove all the parts. Is it the same ship?

Jack: Oh, the ship of Theseus.

Cristina: Yes, but we did it with people. Was that.

Jack: Did we do that with people?

Cristina: We did it with two people. It was the same person, but twice, I think.

Jack: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it wasn't the same person twice. It was. That was just a thought experiment without a computer. It was saying, like, if you think the person is still alive, but you don't know they died, to you, that person is living.

Jack: So it goes to show that your thought of something is more effective than the truth of something.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: And in the case of the ship, whichever ship you feel is the one you experience it with, which would be the one that's the new one, because to you it was consistent.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: That's real ship. Because that's what you're projecting all your while to the person who shows up late. They see all the panels on the new ship, which is the old ship's parts.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: And they're like, that's a ship. I went on. And you're both technically right.

Cristina: Yes. Okay. Yeah. Yeah.

Jack: But we did run consciousness. We did have the. We did have two people, but it was in the ship of Theseus thing. It was testing to see whether consciousness would affect a person at all. By putting consciousness in one person and not in the other and then overlapping them. Phase.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So that they move and behave in exactly the same way.

Cristina: What was that in the machine that.

Jack: Was running the machine? Yes.

Cristina: Okay. Yes. That's what I remember. All right.

Jack: Yeah. And then if they ever break symmetry, then the one with consciousness is the one who did it because they were affected by something. Their consciousness affected the body.

Cristina: Yeah. That's a great test.

Jack: Yeah. Yeah. If we could run that in real life, that'd be phenomenal. But we can't. But that's why we have the quantum computer to run these experiments that would otherwise be impossible.

Cristina: Mm. What else have we done? That stuff with Ish. You and him hacking together or I guess, versus each other. I'm not really sure.

Jack: This is a whole other problem. This is when robots are trying to take over the world.

Cristina: That was when robots are trying. I know. He had a robot buddy.

Jack: He had a robot. Yeah.

Cristina: Oh, he hacked one.

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: He hacked one.

Jack: One of the Terminator robot things.

Cristina: Okay.

Jack: And then he had the robot carry him. We had a hack off to see who could hack more.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: And he was. He was the better hacke.

Cristina: That's what happened.

Jack: He was the better hacker. That was an interesting time. We've been involved in a couple of wars with the cat people, with the reptilians, with the cockroach people, with the robots.

Cristina: Crazy that the zombies didn't take over. But it's a good thing that we just have them on an island.

Jack: Yeah. We controlled the zombies.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: On the flip side, we also control the lizard people, the cat people. Like, we got pretty. We've got a pretty good grasp on things.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: The power of the Illuminati, right there.

Cristina: Mm. But we don't have control of any most mythical creatures.

Jack: No.

Cristina: Because way too many.

Jack: There's way too many. And it's hard to f*** with them because you got to track them down first.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Just getting the werewolves was not easy.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: That was hard work. It took a lot. We were. We all the invisible. We got more verse in werewolves than f****** Sam and Dean.

Cristina: We had to make some. What was the easiest way to. To lay down on a sunny day or something? On a Wednesday. On a Wednesday. In water. I don't.

Jack: We Needed to find a werewolf footprint that was wet, and then you need to lay down in the puddle.

Cristina: You gotta drink the water, I think.

Jack: Oh, really?

Cristina: Then take a nap. On a Wednesday?

Jack: No, the easier way was the belt, right?

Cristina: Oh, yeah. You just put the belt on, you turn into a werewolf.

Jack: A wolf's belt. A belt made of a wolf, I guess.

Cristina: So like a furry belt.

Jack: Then you're a werewolf, and then you're a werewolf. That's how it goes.

Cristina: It's pretty simple. And then you take it off and you're human again.

Jack: We also found out that werewolves were inherently not a thing to begin with. They became a thing after people spoke of them. Because beforehand it was just Native Americans running around doing ritual things. And somehow between point A, when colonizers showed up and saw people running in the woods that looked like werewolves, and now when we caught a werewolf, they became real. Because originally it was just people.

Cristina: It was just people.

Jack: And we actually found out how that happened, which was adrenochrome.

Cristina: Adrenochrome.

Jack: Adrenochrome created werewolves. Boom.

Cristina: Yes. Because the church somehow.

Jack: Yes. And the church is the colonizers.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: Because they brought Christianity over.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: So there really wasn't. Wow. We connected those dots pretty nicely. There really wasn't werewolves. Then the colonizers showed up, saw people who were like werewolves, and they're like, we would probably do this for real. Gave them adrenochrome, created werewolves. Some of those werewolves got feral and became other creatures.

Cristina: Yes. Yeah.

Jack: But werewolves were there.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: Interesting. And this happened with many things, including the groundhog that tells us how long seasons last. Because that's his power.

Cristina: It's the lame power. He's got the lamest ability.

Jack: It matters to us for whatever reason.

Cristina: Matters to farmers.

Jack: He turned it into a whole career, I guess.

Cristina: I mean, right now it doesn't matter. I'm sure when it did matter, it mattered.

Jack: And now we just honor him because he mattered.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Now it's a respect thing.

Cristina: Yeah, it's respect right now.

Jack: Yeah. It's like you helped us when we needed you most. Now we keep you hooked up until you no longer want to be.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: It's a respect thing.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: Does that make sense?

Cristina: I think so. The whole it has its own language thing is pretty ridiculous, though.

Jack: I have a theory. What if we take our time machine to Clinton Road, we put it in the woods, and we hit forward. And we hit forward at a slower pace than crazy flying through time. But faster than now or even slower than now in the time bubble that we form nothing is being altered because we create our own time bubble. But if we can still see the outside being altered, would we notice inconsistencies in how space and time shift around us? Right. If we're walking through Clinton Road and things are changing at random because there are time bubbles, then we don't notice because we're in the time bubble that we seamlessly walk through.

Cristina: But if we could take yourself out. Yeah.

Jack: If we could be in our own time bubble, would we see things that random around us changing and shifting because of the time bubbles? Yes, because we removed ourselves from it. We're not being affected.

Cristina: And if it's not time bubbles, we'll see what it is happening.

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: If there is something else. Could be a bunch of fairies playing tricks on people. Yeah.

Jack: Because fairies are douchebags.

Cristina: Yeah. So I didn't realize that could be an option too.

Jack: Yeah.

Cristina: They love doing tricks on people.

Jack: Good. They could. And some of them are powerful enough to make it seem like you've entered some whole other area and s***.

Cristina: Oh, my gosh.

Jack: Could be fairies.

Cristina: Whoa. I didn't even consider that as an option.

Jack: I thought aliens, but aliens could also be an option. Maybe people are just getting kidnapped and they are getting, like. By aliens who control so such advanced technology that they can alter time momentarily and they go into this sort of bubbled universe where they do things to you. They put you back and to you. It's only been a moment. Of course, in some of these instances, it's been hours. Yeah. Some of these instances it has been, like, ridiculously long for the amount of time we feel passed by. So it's like we kind of weren't there for some time.

Cristina: We.

Jack: That is weird. Like, forever. That's some of the most interesting episodes we've had because that was real experiences. And we even called people in. We called Reaper, we called Noona to hear their sides of these stories.

Cristina: Yeah. We're just missing one person side.

Jack: Yep.

Cristina: Who knows if they even remember because it's such a long time ago.

Jack: It was a very long time ago, and it was a very short part of our life, but we all remember it. Everybody we did call remembers it.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: And what's weird is the difference in everybody's story. That's crazy.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Everybody had something different happening.

Cristina: Mm. Everyone had a very strange night, but in a very different way. Yes.

Jack: That's. What's the craziest part about that. Those are some of my favorite episodes, man.

Cristina: How else could we explore Clinton Road?

Jack: Definitely with the time machine. We'll Get a new perspective on things.

Jack: Alternatively, we could use the quantum computer and simulate all of the wood and see what we see, because we can stop it. Anything at any moment, move around, look at everything.

Cristina: That'd be interesting. Can we see things in the computer? Like, could we put you guys in that?

Jack: Yeah, we can get the computer to simulate us perfectly and just recreate the series of events that we saw.

Cristina: Yeah. Oh, that'd be so crazy.

Jack: Yeah, that's. That's what it's there for. We do whatever the h*** we want.

Jack: I also remember this one time that we simulated a child in the quantum computer who was born not being able to see, not being able to hear, not being able to talk. We just made some horrible human.

Cristina: That is horrible.

Jack: Just so we could see what their thoughts are like. Remember that?

Cristina: I don't. And I don't know. Like, what did we find, though?

Jack: I don't remember.

Cristina: Do you remember? That is a crazy experiment. That seems so wrong because they think.

Jack: There'S nothing that would stop them from thinking their brain is still functional.

Cristina: Yeah, but how do they think if they can't? If they can't, there's no senses.

Jack: Yes. We removed all the senses. But left everything functioning.

Cristina: But left everything functioning.

Jack: Yes, because if we left the tactile sensations, they would think in sensation, like physical touch. If we left scent, they would think in smell. If we left sound, they would think in audible thoughts. Yeah, but we took everything away.

Cristina: Yes. Wow. It's so weird. I feel like I remember something. What are those creepypasta stories that are similar to that, but it's not like a child. It was a person who. They took his senses away from him just to see what would happen. It's. Of course it leads to something creepy.

Jack: Nicki went crazy. Yeah.

Cristina: Yeah. He goes crazy. Then he starts seeing dead people, he says, but they don't believe him. And then I think in the end, he pretty much sees God or something.

Jack: Yes, but this is all happening when they took away his senses. But he could still talk.

Cristina: Yeah, but he could still communicate to them what he.

Jack: Yeah, they took away his sense of touch, of smell, of sound, of sight.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: But he could talk.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: And they put this machine to him, and they left him in a room, and little by little, he devolved into madness.

Cristina: Mm. That's pretty crazy.

Jack: I mean, we had a creepypasta episode.

Cristina: We did. I don't think that story was in that creepypasta episode, but that's a creepypasta for sure.

Jack: Yeah. This really cool creep pastas are Cool. I like them.

Cristina: Yeah, well, yeah, that is. That's so crazy because you can convert someone to it and then convert someone away from it.

Jack: Yeah, yeah, I've mastered the art of doing that. Which then, then brings us to the guests and everything. Right. Like we mentioned germs and we mentioned Ishmael. But like, we've had a multitude of guests on this show. A bunch of interesting people, from musicians to artists, directors, other podcasters. Just a lot going on. Some of them multidisciplinary people.

Cristina: And some of us tried. Some of them tried to convert us.

Jack: Quite often. And he still thinks it had to do with the llama.

Cristina: Really? Yeah.

Jack: Which would give way credibility to that llama. Like just really protecting him.

Jack: Because the one. The another one time he doesn't have it, boom. Almost dies.

Cristina: Yeah. Maybe he is onto something.

Jack: He got the lucky llama. Interesting little artifact to own.

Cristina: Yes. Man, we have so many different guests. I don't know, there's just so many guests, so many topics, so many.

Jack: Sometimes our whole episode is fueled by an investigation we're running for the Illuminati. They give us an objective. We do our research and we just share it with you guys and we go do our homework and we go on our mission. We accomplish our mission. We let you guys know everything that happens.

Jack: And I remember one episode where Ryan was trying to troll you. Yeah. He was trying to troll me without realizing. Like, bro, I am not pretending to be a troll.

Cristina: Where did that lead us? I feel like it had to do with tape or something. There was a bow and if you just put the thing.

Jack: Flexial.

Cristina: Flexial. Yes.

Jack: Yeah. Yeah. I don't even know. I know that he was trying to consistently change the topic.

Jack: And I was okay with that. And that was bothering him that he was trying to troll and I was following along, which means he had to be able to continue to change the topic without losing himself in thought, which kind of annoyed him because he wanted to lose me in thought. But, like, I don't. This show has no. Yeah, like, this has no direction already, dude.

Jack: Yeah, if he's flawed. If the clone. Clone's clone is flat. Well, if the clone we get is flawed, then that's the clone's clone. Yeah, but if he's a perfect clone, then we cloned the original.

Cristina: Yes, but then the original will look at that clone, decided they need a fight to the death, and then we'll.

Jack: Be in the same situation, so it doesn't even matter.

Jack: All we would have answered is he was the clone. But we'll be left with the same question now. Because we'll be like, I don't know.

Jack: So there's no way to solve that problem.

Jack: Because we predicted one of these mass shootings would happen immediately after the other one.

Jack: And me and Blake Weatherly just really use hard information. We sat down and we thought about it. We worked it all in our heads because of a mass shooting that happened. Talked about society and how it affects psychology, and in doing so, we came to the conclusion that, well, because of how it affects psychology, somebody else is gonna see this. And then we're have a copycat killer. No time. The f****** day the episode went up, six hours later, another mass shooting happened.

Jack: Unrelated. In the exact specifications manifesto and everything. It was like, oh, crap, we need like an emergency.

Cristina: And then you recorded the emergency episode.

Jack: Yeah, yeah. It's just like this f*****. We did not tell this guy to do that. Yeah, but it could totally look to people like he heard the episode and then said some s***.

Cristina: Although that's not your fault if he did that. Do that. If he did hear the episode. Is that your fault? No, because it's not like you told him.

Jack: I don't either. We predicted a couple of things though, that did turn out true. I was listening to a clip on our Instagram recently of a conversation I was having with. Was I talking to. I don't remember, but I was actually predicting Biden.

Cristina: Biden winning.

Jack: Oh, I was talking to Aaron from a perspective podcast. I was predicting Biden winning without knowing Biden would even run. I knew somebody from the left would win by default. As I said in the clip. And I said that we would immediately start correcting things as a knee jerk reaction instead of thinking about it, which I said in the clip that we should be talking about. We should be electing Trump again so that we have four years to plan rather than elect somebody from the left who's immediately gonna force all the stupid ideas we had as solutions into law.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: Which is what's happening.

Cristina: Ah.

Jack: I predicted that. And it's taking place.

Cristina: Mm.

Jack: So, yeah. The reality.

Cristina: Yes. You see, we are the best. I don't know. Fortune tellers.

Jack: Yeah. We're really good at our jobs. That's why the Illuminati has us here.

Cristina: Like, watching someone. Someone accept award for doing something great. That's kind of weird.

Jack: That's pretty weird.

Cristina: Like, they can get that at home. We don't have to watch them all live together.

Jack: I love award ceremonies.

Cristina: It's the weirdest.

Jack: It's so weird. We're there to watch somebody be given a trophy.

Cristina: Yes. It's like. And we do that in school, though. Like, the person who gets the best grades, honor roll the whole year, they're gonna get a little certificate paper on stage.

Jack: Yeah. You know, here's the thing. It programs us to want that movie star moment where we get the trophy on stage, because we've been taught over and over.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: To. You know, you're gonna go on stage. You're gonna do so well. You get to go on stage.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: And people are gonna clap and they're gonna be happy for how well you did. And it's like, why do you need that validation?

Cristina: It's important.

Jack: But they're teaching us to want that validation.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: It's important for them that we need that validation.

Cristina: Yes.

Jack: I guess that's kind of the programming, isn't it?

Cristina: We're being programmed.

Jack: We're being programmed because then they can control our behavior. We need the validation. And we only get the validation if we do the things that they've put in place. So we have to work to get the promotion. And if we get the promotion, everybody knows because we get promoted on site. This is now we're promoting this guy to do the thing now he's moving up in life. We want to congratulate him for his job well done. And you're like, yeah, I did it. But you're being essentially brainwashed to just follow the line and do the job. And you're gonna get rewarded if you do the job. Exactly. To the T that they told you to do the job.

Cristina: You have to. That's the most important part, that you.

Jack: Do what you're told.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: That's some f***** s***. That's crazy brainwashing.

Cristina: Yeah. But it's exactly what's happening in the military.

Jack: And not just the military. I'm talking about everything.

Cristina: Yeah.

Jack: A celebrity is essentially that.
