(Who am I?...#4) Every King within.

Well here is #4 in my (Who am I?) series I want to get published. Let me know whats up?

————

…dour nightmares elucidate,

an oasis of extravagant horrors.

Promising hope declares a mandate,

for agonizing torturous mutilation.

Recognition, peering in the mirror,

eludes comprehension of distortment.

A familiar face with similar taste,

invades with haste to stake my place.

On the eve of sunset,

amidst the fiery yellows,

within the blend of passions purple,

clashing of the flamingos pink hue.

A disbelief of such serenity.

Brings back to reality,

a knowing remembrance,

hatred conceived me.

Fervently streams of guilt relentlessly,

Collide forming a swell to flow over.

Dams fractured now seeping laceration,

trickles into roaring beasts strategic in…

My 2nd Chance

…have no clue

When you say things that Pierce me

And what they put me through

What Being alone is what fears me

Yet my heart chooses you

You seem to not know what tears mean

You’re beautiful slick black hair

Soft to the touch

Skin so mesmerizing it’s not fair

Soft voice melts me as such

Beautiful sparkling brown eyes I try not to stare

Hold me as tight as you can

Please don’t dismiss me

I know you saw the others who ran

I just want you to kiss me

I know you might be the better…

The Nostalgia Pin

Going down the memory lane, literally..

————

…there, and not alone,

I carried some entities that were long gone.

I found myself breaking piece by piece,

few of them belonged to that place I reached.

I heard it, in the roaring silence that surrounded,

the echos started booming, that I once had grounded.

I found myself waking up from a sleep,

it was an alarm, I had to unknowingly keep.

I met them, after a time I couldn't quantify,

a moment, neither as happy or sad could it qualify.

I found myself trapped in a time leap.

How alive those dead memories…

Legacy

…born in the legacy of a poet, both blessing and curse

A poet who poured his drinks as often as he penned verse.

Hasty, swift, trembling wrists, alternating, tipping and rising.

I thought it was a game, a movie, he was always disguising,

Compromising his health, family, soul, yet blinded, stoic.

Till one day his poisoned blood decided to stop flowing.

I was born twice, once in death, had to learn early I must keep going.

Left with half a soul, from its withered branches growing

A voice, echoes of hope, pure love, stability, an ability

To deal with life's…

Back To You

Song Lyrics -- A link to the music can be found here: https://youtu.be/5xd9qhUPb18

————

…is it

I can't get you out of my mind?

Why is it

your gravity always finds me?

Why is it

the rain only falls when you are gone?

Why is it

I'm even writing this song?

Why can't I convince myself

that you are not the one?

Every time I come too close,

I force myself to run.

But I come back to you every time,

even though I know that you'll never be mine.

Why is it

there's nothing I can do but…

Girl On The Green

Green fingers were essential

A pinch of oregano

To sprinkle over oven ready Margherita pizza

Spare phone cases and empty wallets

She would run into problems

Drops of hyoscyamus under her tongue for treating hypersensitivity

Unsure of whether she should quiet her mind or continue the chatter

Thinking about a distinct oxymoron on the sectional

Oversharing discreet celebrity dalliances

Madness was born out of creativity

Grew irritated by the spotlight and sought nightlife

Retreating to retail and radio

My Memory Is Still In Love With You

Love is a dreadfully glorious death.

————

…wish you were dead, so that your decaying bones turned to sacred ash beneath a marker I can lie my broken-openly beating heart apon, when I need to be near you.

But you aren't, and I am left to oblige your wishes to never see me again. You still walk this earth, and I still bleed for you, mourn and wail for you, seeking you in every lover I have taken since.

Anesthetize me, I beg of men's bodies. My thirst never quelled, my memory is still in love with…

Despair

…is the room of the broken heart

Capacity reached

Forlornly trying to seek the needle and thread to stitch me back together

So many limitations, so bleak

Eternity can not fix this

No sunshine

No hope

A darkened room that just gets smaller and smaller with the passing time

No recourse

No remedy to fix this

The repetitions carving the jagged line that separates the halves of the heart

No fortitude

The pericardium trying to hold steadfast

The core of the heart seeking any warmth that lay within the chambers

The darkness can not fade

It will not…

Lost in Gods Embarce.

Im not a big believer in writer's block. For one reason and one reason only, because there is always something to right about.and an abundance of words to pick and choose and to write. It could be just me... If you keep thinking of something tell me how many times it becomes harder.

In truth I've been told.

If I dare be so bold.

Twisting the lies sold.

Turning your " mind" cold.

I write with no limits

placed upon my talent

a blessed gift with no

blockage of miss

When World Unites

 …world unite

Hatred will lose its humongous value

Selfishness will die in striking solitude

Our night will be addressed as daylight

For gloom never will cause us doom

Heaven will cast upon us, stares of jealousy

Celestial bodies will wish to resign their duties

Mama will roll her wrapper peacefully

While offering her offspring's mirthful smiles

Papa will crown his cap unperturbed

Walking the heart of town undisturbed

When world unite

No room will be allocated for chaos

No space, be given for weighing woes

We, in safety sip our sultry soup

And lay our heads in serene…
