Billionaires Pay The Wall

…lightning

Frightening the size of the divide, the wall

Exciting, getting off, fighting

Beating the law, dying, drying

Autumn crumbles the humble

Kite flying, red eyed

Fiends for for green presidents

Bodies stack, relevant, payoff for the hell of it

Bar the tan, prison, uncle Sam

No hands given, bands and cuffs

Vans driven by the man, tough luck

Payless labor, the slaver filled with tricks

Slave work, catches the dipshits

Favors he says, slips up

Ignored

Fiddle with Riddles

Meddling with shit settled

Better vote, but don’t matter

No hope, the game got broke

Gettin’ sadder, rigged

The pigs…

Best of All

…those tears we never shed
There is a best of all

Of all the love we never made
Or tender moments never spent in bed
Of all sweet memories never shared
There is a best of all

Of all our children never nursed
Or for that matter, ever birthed
Of all those trips we never planned
There is a best of all

Of all the places we've never been
Of all the games we never played
Of all the dinners never cooked
There is a best of all

Of all the fights we never had
Of all the make-ups never…

Black Orchids

...a bird in my rib cage

That would sing in the cold.

It’s wings once overlapped -Trapped

In tight spaces but upon seeing your face they taste freedom As they start to unfold.

Orchids..... once pure black you Painted to white.

Petals and stems Once Consumed by the night

now stretch out towards you like a

             Thousand stars burning bright.

I’m tasting your lips and embracing your light.

Can you taste me too?

      Breathing deep into...

The Finder

…hint of mystery

A winsome energy hung in the air

Whispers of essential oils

Wafted about my hair

Crystals and bright colored stones

Adorned the windowsill

I should be feeling comfortable

But had a bit of a worry, still

The scented oils smelled stronger

As I approached a large armchair

I had come to get an understanding

For that steadfast sense

I belonged elsewhere

The kindly lady beside the desk

Welcomed me right in

She thanked me then said,

"Take a seat, and then we can begin."

And so began the session

Not a thing felt odd or strange

Though…

The Champion

…my dragon's back,

my shield and armour made from scales no foe would dare attack.

I roam about the countryside and seek to do good deeds,

the peasants are such simple folk, I'm pleased to fill their needs.

No need to tilt at windmills, my opponents are quite real,

they smile and offer pleasantries but lie and cheat and steal.

With promises and hope for all, but never do deliver,

I vow to make them penitent with arrows from my quiver.

The overlords are arrogant, they feel they are immune,

but they've not dealt with dragons, perhaps they'll change their…

Shadows

…hard to fight,

Fight my demons no one see's,

like darkness they follow me,

Shadows on my walls only my mind can see,

another night passed by the tick tick tick of my wall clock,

Here I'll stay, Here I lay watching my shadow dance once again,

Another night passed by the loneliness of a phone screens light,

As the sun rises I see my shadow start to move back into my mind as the world comes back to life,

A show I'll never miss, When the darkness moves within the light,

The most beautiful sight,

I say goodbye to…

Warm Illusion

…noised fusion, Soft intrusion
you always were static confusion

Deep connection, Slow momentum
You always were an Apprehension

Complex concept, yet Lucid dreamt
You always were a place where my storm's slept

Constellation, Live Creation
You always were my motivation

Fragmented eyes, Deceiving lies
You always were the highest tides

Constellation, Complex Creation
You always were where life Collides

Disillusioned, Beauty ruined
You always were a warm…

The Waiting Game

…approach the gate

You're loving me

And then you stop...

You stop... and make me wait

The symphony begins again

A smooth adagio

You're loving me

Again you stop...

You stop... and make me wait

Anticipation fills the air

I'm in a frenzied state

Why must you stop

You torture me...

You stop... and make me wait

My God, I'm going to kill you

If you stop and make me wait

You're loving me

So divinely

This time I cannot wait

Clutched in embrace

The cymbals crash

What magic you create

When loving me

Till I vibrate

I love you…

Survive

…sound of the great waves is that of a thousand souls

Souls gasping and crying, whispering and sighing

The sun dips below the horizon and ignites a blaze that knows no bounds

The clouds burst into flames and the sea is burning

Slowly, the fire fades and a new face smiles upon the sky

Like an elegant mistress in a silver evening gown, Luna glides across the heavens

Soon the graceful lady casts her sparkling jewels about

The stars glimmer in a glow of chill as the wind is cooled by darkness

A streak of gold falls into the waters…

Pain

…sun arose bright and New,

Memories untainted despite they’re Old,

Life had lost its glory and its Hue,

Secretly pining over thoughts Untold.

Countless opportunities Await,

No dearth of distractions to Evade,

Relentless in effort to shoulder this Weight,

Deceiving the world with a Masquerade.

Even in moments of blissful Exhilaration,

The heart prevailed over immortal Time,

Failing to yield to Adaptation,

Will this Pain last a Lifetime ?

The sun arose with awareness Renewed,

Acceptance was the key to Liberation,

The heart and mind no longer at Feud,

For Pain was the fuel to…
