to form a government.

Behind facade of
a party-
lies inner chamber,
for hidden faces,
further down is a
concave with
tenebrous light
belonging to
unknown elders.

Twenty-four-seven,
concave is alive,
meetings,
deliberations,
discussions are held
in groups,
by elders unknown
in the public
in unusual regalia.

Papa-in-council
follows,
to fine tune
deliberations,
review then ratify;
from conclave
emerges working document
promoted by known faces.
