When Today Begins

An eerie feeling comes across the universe

when twilight peeks his head

over the horizon,

with a glimmer of soft diffused light.

The song birds begin singing

a delightful sound,

alerting us to this miracle,

when time changes frames.

A glorious beauty of light

filters through tiny crevices of our homes,

blessing us with a sense of peacefulness,

touching our souls as we awake.

One spectacular display

showcasing nature’s hand,

the moment today first begins,

enchanting us with its grace.
