Cuckoo

It was summer, my baby was sleeping.

When I lifted the curtain

A breeze embraced my sweaty body.

A melodious voice in the air,

Slowly it was drowning me and my body.

Closed my mind and my eyes,

It got faster than before.

I couldn't but stepped out of my home and

Was looking for tap from

Where the song was coming.

It took my eyes on a branch of a tree

And the songs kept coming behind the leaves.

Silently, I stopped, holding my breath

A black neck appeared in front of me:

Not here not there

It was black all around. Oh it was a cuckoo

As bitter and as dark as His tongue.

Though black, praised by many.

It closed my eyes, closed my heart

I was in Love.

Time has passed,

But its voice yet reminds me of Her existence.
