Under The Moonlight

Deep in the night

Quietly the moon glides

Its silver light hushes Earth

Nocturnal creatures are out

And dare not disturb them

Mountains go to sleep

Trees stand still

The stream hums lullaby

The wind lulls low too

Cats caterwaul

Frogs croak

The lovers in the wild

Bill and coo

Poise stripped

Croon in low moans

Of primordial callings

Cats mount and scream

Frogs leap and grasp

The lovers frolic and entwine

All vibrate with Nature

Enter into ecstasy

Under the moonlight
