The End Times

We’re living

in the end times.

Fire burns parts

of the world

like a scourge.

The Arctic burns

as a heat wave

spreads fire on

the permafrost’s

highest layer.

The Amazon burns

near a huge city.

Smoke from the

rainforest drifts

to Sao Paulo.

Australia burns.

Bushfires take

lives of men and

animals in the

Black Summer.

California burns.

An inferno grows

beyond control.

It moves toward

Lake Tahoe.

Fire burns across

these four places.

We’re living

in the end times

and it scares us.
