Soulmates

Together they sing in duet

Out of their candidness

A rhythm in tune 

With their inner flows

It is impromptu singing

Yet harmonious 

As if it has been rehearsed

Sung in a subdued tone

But resonates strongly in their hearts

Like gentle-lapping waves

Its tempo rocks their souls

Into a blissful contentment

Their unity rests in a womb

Where miracles are nurtured
