As you reflect on the past

Avoid lingering on regrets

Chances not taken, goals not attained

Rather, be mindful

Of what you helped others achieve

Gaining yourself in the process

As you look to the future

Avoid resting on your laurels

Awards received, fortune and fame accumulated

Rather, be mindful

Of how you may help others to their destination

Growing yourself in the journey

And as you look around you to the present

Be aware of its true place as our “here” and “now”

Seeing beauty and majesty in the world around us

Being always mindful

That this is our one time and one place

Living and loving in the moment
