Chaos and Hatred

My mind races with a thousand thoughts.

The voices keep me from the peace I sought.

Borrowing worries that aren't mine to keep.

Counting my teardrops instead of sheep.

Reliving each moment, searching for truth.

All of my fuck ups you hold on to as proof.

I hate you for making me feel love like that.

Now gasping for breath cause you snatched it all back.

Drowning in the memories that we once made.

My love and forgiveness to you I freely gave.

What price must I pay for forgiving it all?

Does any of it even matter when still we fall?

I'm more than what you see me as, your view is blurred with hate.

The good that you once saw in me,

has since been washed away.

Transgressions from the past haunt you still today.

The love that we once shared, now lost within the pain.

This Chaos and Hatred is driving me insane…
