How can we glorify heaven
Bereft of enlivening hymns
Unite hearts of people
Lacking the heartening anthem
Commence a wedding
Without an elegant tune
Celebrate birthdays
Short of happy songs
Life devoid of music is
A drab spring field
No flowers to adorn it
A quiet vernal season
Birds cease to tweet
A night sky without moon or stars
Leaving nothing to mesmerize
When music dies in the heart
Dances lose tempos
Poems miss rhythms
Love lacks romance
Despair cannot find solace
Solitude turns into loneliness
