Will Hatred End

Nothing lasts forever

This is nature’s way   

To recycle materials 

To bring in new life

If time allows                  

Stone will erode

The sun will die

The universe will collapse

But hatred is perpetuated 

When it is passed down

Generation to generation

Intensified by revenge

Hatred will only end 

If we treat it with

Forgiveness and love

Or when weapons demolish us all
