Who’m I?

If I were me, I’d like to be

some other person, thoroughly

exciting, handsome, debonair;

someone with that vim and flair

which sparks excitement, joie de vi’e,

and a touch of mystery

but as it stands, I’ll fold my hands

and settle for this life’s demands—

to be whom I was meant to be,

even if that one is me.
