The World's End

The World can end for you only when your thoughts end.

We discard the mere arrival of thoughts,

We are unknown;

It secretly discards the feelings.

Words left unexpressed can utterly discard you

For, no preaching tames your understanding of the world.

A nascent and fresh you live

In your own warm cocoon

Which ultimately embraces the world.

The world’s ending might be a new beginning to you;

You are the beginning with its own ending.
