The Subconscious

My mind’s hidden power, 

mysterious as the universe,

endless thoughts arise

day and night

Deep in my mind                                 

something is always hatching 

in the primordial soup 

of the subconscious 

beyond my awareness

beyond my control

Is it where the muse resides

offering me 

an endless stream of ideas

shaping my thoughts 

guiding me to artistic heights 

I could not reach alone
