The Covert War

In the process of art creation

The right and left hemispheres

Constantly wrangle with each other

When a creative idea surges in the right

The left never hesitates to meddle

Using its logical sense to edit

A tug of war then occurs

The right creativity wants freedom

The left rationality demands discipline

Joggling between the wild imagination

And unbending logic 

The mind suffers to mediate

When a happy medium is reached 

And the artwork is sealed by the heart

The war finally ends
