Take No Rest

Take no rest

There is work at hand

To right wrongs

Correct injustice

Afford redress

Care for the sick

Provide for the needy

Feed the hungry

Give drink to those who thirst

Offer comfort to those who despair

Sustain those in loss

Alleviate suffering

Insure equality

Bring peace

Help those who hate, love

This work began long before we were born

Countless ages and generations past

And will continue after our efforts end

When our bodies are dust

And our souls return to the cosmos

Yet, take no rest

For even one person helped

Is one less person in need

And thus is worthy attainment

Of the goal sought:

Making the world a better place

There is work at hand

Take no rest
