Statuesque

A Fibonacci poem base, in part, on Emma Lazarus' 1883 sonnet "The New Colossus" inscribed at the base of the Statue of Liberty.

Red,

white,

and blue,

colors true—

but only if we

share freedom, hope, and liberty,

for we are the huddled masses yearning to breathe free

who know that sacrifice, not selfishness, like the humility of a bended knee

in peaceful protest against despotic tyranny, is opportunity for our diverse community to create true unity.
