Spectacular Spring

Spring is indeed a magical time when weeds and lovely flowers sprout. Their color and fragrance surround us.

Unfortunately, the earliest greenery to sprout are the weeds.

Still bundled up, we yank at the weeds for all our worth.

The snowdrops share their white color with the lingering snow.

Next the snow crocus royally displays their purple blossoms.

The dwarf iris proudly shows off their mixture of white, purple, and yellow.

I’m waiting for the vibrant yellow daffodils to push through the snow.

To encourage the lilies struggling to emerge, I provide daily reassurance.

The yellowish-green buds on the dogwood trees cheer up my countenance.

Spring is the most spectacular season of all.
