Friends from long ago

Or friends that were recently made

For us to talk and show

Or to see what the others conveyed

Advances in technology, we praise

Convenience to communicate has grown

As we can see each other’s days—

Or even talk by a phone

For social media is a vital key

That helps us stay in touch

To be there and just maybe

Show we care so much!

We can share our thoughts freely

That others might be able to say

Whether they agree or disagree

You will know the opinions they convey

Social media’s influence is shown

When we see the ideas of others there

Or even our very own

That we can freely share!
