Ocean's Trance

"Ocean's Trance" is a short poem about how the ocean calls to us. It hypnotizes us as we listen to the waves crashing. It brings peacefulness to our soul.

Lost in the midst of the shoreline,

listening to the angry roar of savage green waves

hypnotizing him with each crash.

He hears the ocean beckoning him

closer to the water’s edge,

taunting him with a slice of paradise.

A peaceful, easy feeling

leads him to a land of contentment,

where his worries are left far behind.
