Misery Needs Company
/She should be sad
But she is only numb
Maybe she is dumbstruck
Or in denial
By this unforeseen misfortune
She tries to block her thoughts
Dull her sensations
And feel nothing
Lest she dive into depression
Only she still needs to battle
Against her ill fate
She is never a good fighter
She is under a cracked shelter
Torrential rain is leaking through
She is soaking wet and shivering
Who can hold up an umbrella for her
She is crying for company
