Anonymity

He sits in a corner

Lively beach bar

At his feet

A battered guitar

Whisky on table

Roll up in hand

On left wrist

Faded leather band

Kind smile for all

Exudes calm

Distinctive voice

Soothing balm

Soft, deep drawl

Undertones of honey

Enter its sphere

Yearn to hear his story

Ask a personal question

Changes subject politely

Departs at end of evening

Cloaked in anonymity
