Like A River In Winter

You still remember him

The little moments that were nurtured as evergreen

Life therein was short

But it lasted and treasured as a support

The times has changed as per the wind

But your memories hasn't changed instead it's intoxicated as weed

It gives satisfaction for sometimes while thinking

Oh it never satisfies my soul and leaves me to wrestle within

You're faraway

And I wonder do my thoughts cross your mind?

The days kept showering in ages

And I wonder do my words comes as a young remind?

I have started to shrink like a river in winter

I wish the times where we were in to shrink as well

But the summer is near and it will bring lots of water

And I am afraid that your memories might trigger my actions to cause flood in the lives of ours.
