Keep Rising

The more you invest attention and resources into something, the more it hurts when it collapses. And the more serious the collapse, the higher your chances of a permanent breakdown. There are things that hit people and they never recover.

One way of preparing yourself to survive tough times is by having a backup plan for the things you invest your emotions, your sweat, your time and money into.

For instance, in a love relationship, do not make your partner your only source of happiness. Find happiness in your everyday routines. Share happiness with the people around you. Develop quality and satisfying relationships with people who live the principles  you admire. Find joy in working on your talents and dreams.

There are moments in life however, that you are not given the opportunity to prepare backup plans. These are times you make moves in faith and can only hope for the best. When such times come, keep calm and don't be bothered about the outcome.

Remember that the reward of the chances you take isn't in the winning or failing. Your true reward lies in the self-development those chances impose on you. Growth lies in taking  chances, taking risks. Being adventurous exposes you to shortcomings you need to improve on in order to maximize your chances of succeeding on a journey you have embarked.

When you have this mindset of being open to trying new things and never bothered about failing, you open yourself up for higher dimensions of self-discovery and no shock you receive can shutter you.

You will always keep rising whenever you fall.
