In My Dreams I Likeky Flunked Out

It is a mystery why I have this recurring dream.

I used to forget my dreams but now I wake up with memories of the dream, sometimes spotty, sometimes clear. I have a recurring dream that I did not graduate from college. I am in my last semester taking classes like French and Economics and I skip so many classes—and tests—that I worry about failing. The dream ends before I find out my grades—and if they are good enough to graduate. In reality, I graduated a semester late from the University of Pennsylvania to finish my international relations thesis. I went on to Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. But in my dreams I likely flunked out.
