I Love What I Do

I love what I do and

I do what I love

Today I might not use my rhyme

Tomorrow I might not be in my prime

I might live in years of not living

And in fears of being unloved, I might sink my heart

My distraction is of a dark cloud

Because it makes me rain in words

My desire is an eye

Because it gives me sight

Writing is so spontaneous and not in my design

My rhyme should not be my soul and a device of poetic divine

It is in spontaneity that I desire

And it is also that I write to keep up the burning fire

I have a clout of a weaver

Old habits die hard

I do what I love

I love what I do.
