"Home" is a poem that depicts the feelings one has when he is home

A comfortable feeling

like a warm and cozy, soft blanket

embracing you,

as you step foot in the door.

It’s not a building,

nor the contents inside

that puts a smile on your face,

but the ability to be oneself

behind closed doors.

A place where you kick off your shoes,

toss your clothes into the far corner,

where you exist in a worry-free zone,

creating your own laughter

until you face the world

again tomorrow.
