His Difficult Journey
/Cancer menaces his life
Like hurricane threatens a sail
Alone in a tattered boat
He has no choice but
To navigate the turbulent seas
Ominous clouds block the sun
Turning his days into raven black
In the darkness he sees no future
Only hears roars of the raging waves
Smells stench of death
In despair
He turns to divine guidance
His trepidation assuaged
Courage to battle salvaged
He will hold tight onto faith
