Future Fear

With the advancement of technology                   

A group of unique entities

With high intelligence 

Have emerged since 1950’s 

They are silicon beings                             

And their population is expanding

Though they cannot be categorized 

As a new species                                  

At this point in time

They serve their carbon-based creators

The human beings

They can make decisions   

And accumulate knowledge  

Faster than their masters

Are they just software

Do they have self-awareness   

More and more 

Humankind relies on them       

In the future will they                

Take over to rule the world

And render human obsolete
