Friendship Means So Much To Me

Friendship

means so much to me,

just like a home

which is secure.

No bolts to jolt,

no locks to crack,

just a smile

or tear

of happiness.

Joyous times

we share,

like the summer we traveled

to our favorite beach,

to find the water

no longer there.

Sorrowful times

we share,

like the time

my child left

before his years.

Friendship

is a treasure in the heart

worth more than gold,

it's like a flower that blooms deeper

and last longer

within all seasons.
