Debarkation

The shore is nigh

The voyage will end

Soon you have to debark

Be prepared

The ocean though so vast

Will no longer be the water

For your dreams to swim around

The sky so infinite

Will cease to be the space

For your aspirations to fly freely

Your heart will turn senseless

You will then belong to earth

Six feet under

Cuddled by coldness

Yet you won’t feel uncomfortable

At the end of the voyage

You have to disembark alone

Your luggage no matter how precious

Has to stay behind

Prepare to part with your dear ones

Let go your possessions

However reluctant or unprepared

You have to leave empty-handed

Just like when you arrived at this world
