Technology slows me down in its rapid growth

Challenged by technology

Like learning the basics

of ABC….

I must write down the steps

to turn on a new tv, computer, pressure cooker, washing machine, phone.

Walking with pen and paper

Catching up with time

Moving like shifting sand.

Grappling with reduced capacity

As the years race past 70

I’m putting my feet down to master the basics of technology.
