Bumpy Road

"Bumpy Road" is a poem about a couple who faces obstacles on their path.

They stand together, trusting one another, knowing that together they will get through it.

Encountering a long, narrow road

full of potholes and ruts,

they tightly grasp hold of one another.

Flames of passionate love

guide them along a rugged trail,

as they wait in the darkness

for a new chapter to unfold.

Having one another’s back,

they face each struggle 

with a sense of contentment,

standing with their feet

planted firmly on the ground.
