Battle in the Car Wash

Thunder!

Darkness!

Damnation!

Hell!

Devils pound on the roof

with a vengeance

They beat fiercely

against the doors,

rush towards windows

of entrapment.

The end must be

like

this.

Whimpering is

no use.

Have mercy.

It’s a long coast

through hell

in neutral gear.

During extremity,

a light peeks out

from far away,

heaven’s (---) gate.

The light grows bright.

Angels arrive.

They wipe with feathers.

Prayers are answered.

The fight on wet

terrain

ends

blessedly

with a breath of fresh air.

THANK GOD, IT’S OVER!!
