Awakening

silence my child

your day will come

with heavy rain in the cloud

wet grasses on the ground

barefeet grazing through and through

you will not be admired

death is not defeat

silence my child

your day will come

at the bottom of the ocean

on the surface of the sea

against the waves

how are sharks buried

bones are not cartilage

silence my child

your day will come

with happy endings

lovemaking in daytime

the sun against your skin

warmth amongst your kin

clouds do not hold dirty water

silence my child your day will come against all odds.
