A Tale Of Togetherness

Cells come together 

Allowing fusion of ovum and pollen 

Fertilization of egg and sperm

Procreation of new lives 

Lives come together 

Through intermingling of genes

Over millions of years

Apes evolved into humans

Human population explosion together

With ravenous exploitation 

Have overburdened planet earth

It’s possible an irreversible disaster is imminent

Unless we all come together

Strive with our wisdom 

And our determination

So we may continue to flourish on earth
