A Sleeping Wish

In the night so deep and dark      

there is a wish within my heart 

hibernating under shy desire      

waiting for passion to lure it out

It stirs in me a blooming fantasy 

and I hear my inner voice cry out

oh! let me bare my heart and soul 

I do not want to suffer any more     

If only I ignore what others say

I would pursue my wish each day 

and with the power of my faith  

find the culmination of my dream

But when I woke up in the morn  

my timid heart also returned

and with my tears of cowardice    

my wish remains a lingering wish
