Your Message

The night is dark and deep

alone I stay awake 

lost in thought 

gazing out the window

the stars are faint

the moon is absent

I miss you so dearly  

sorrow arises

and washes over me

I pray you can hear   

the message I sent you 

when suddenly! 

I saw a starfall answer me
