Why are Humans So Simple?

"Why are Humans So Simple" asks why we let the actions of others tear us apart instead of trusting in the power of God.

We often try to walk down a pathway we want in life only to stumble and fall because it's not the plan God has for our life.

Why are we humans so simple,

letting the actions of others destroy us

like a tornado wrenching our soul,

when the world is at our fingertips

just waiting for us to succeed?

The storm is never as bad as we imagine

but we let it toss us into another dimension,

where we are helpless to climb out.

Why don’t we take a moment

to trust in the power of God,

instead of forcing our footsteps

to walk down a path

where our feet always stumble?
